70 runs in 10 overs is too expensive in a one day match. Even though he took 3 wickets. Especially if you consider that Rafiq only gave 23 for his 10!

Default Avoiding such blockhead errors

. 6 4 W 3 L1
I thougth Pilot had more sense then this. However, Benky is a very good batsmen, good to see him out of the game.
260 is a good possibility. BD should use this chance to bat the 50 overs and not try to chase this total and get all out for 150. We need all the practice we can get.

Namibia won by 8 runs. Good for them.
W Indies 323/4 from 46.5 overs...

Default strategy for last 5 overs

ok, we have watched many bangladesh bowling efforts go down the drain. what do you experts say should be the strategy in the last 5-10 overs - what bowlers to use, what fielding - what's pilot's best strategy accoding to our board experts?

it seems that our spin may pay some dividends regardless of SA wickets. by having 3 pacers, rafiq and kapali and then adding either ash or sanwar instead of ehsan, do you think that is the best team? both ash and sanwar are spinners.

Default Fielding

Has Pilot put every men on the boundary line ? You'll notice that they are gleefully going for the ones.

The bowling looks okay except Kapali needs to focus. A little more bite won't hurt.

Ash and Sanwar should come in for Seezan/Tusher/SUMON/Hannan.

I really think we should only use our seamers for the last ten overs. Keep a combination of overs between between Masri, Monju and Taposh. The spinners are easy pickings for these batsmen. Even if they bowl a few dot balls, they go for sixes as well. Just look at Kapali's 10th over, he gave away 14 runs! Thats too many. You will get hit around in the end overs, but 14 is too many. Might as well have the pacers give away their usual 8 or so. If Monju had bowled that over, he would not have given away more than 7 or 8 I am sure. But for some reason, Kapali gets to bowl 10, and Monju only 7 overs.

Default Masri

Should we play him in the last over or bring Manju back ? Neither have shown much promise in taking wickets. I would have played Manju for 49th and have Tapash finish.

How is Talha doing ? He missed a lot. Is he even with the team ?

Bodi is not playing this match (woohooo) - however the whole Bangladesh team is playing so you never know.

This decision to play Hannan, Seezan and Tushar and not Sanwar is mind boggling. Especially after his 72 in Namibia, which was our highest individual score. I mean, I can understand that they are trying to decide between Hannan and Seezan by resting Ash who is certain to play. But how can they take Tushar, who didn't score 72 in 5 innings combined in Namibia, ahead of Sanwar?

Default Tusher

Because - it has been decided that Tusher is a specialist one-day player. I swear, if some of you would pay some attention to BCB, you could have figured them out by now. Khek.

By the way, Sanwar is a specialist test/first class player. (don't ask)

Default 251 for 6

Everyone (but Rafique) got wickets. That's a good thing. Also, they beat ,my prediction (260-275) so that's a triumph. will be a hard job to score 252. Don't think we can make it even with Bodi not playing today.

HAVE TO CHECK THOSE EXTRAS (24 today)

What say you - the wise BD fans ?

Default 252 to win!

Right now, I would say it is beyond Bangladesh. Especially if the top order stays true to form and collapses dramatically. If we can keep some wickets in hand, maybe we can get up there. Rokon, Sumon and Kapali need to play long innigs, and one from Hannan, Seezan and Tushar needs to score some runs.

BD gave up follwing runs for each 10 overs:

1-10: 36 v. good
11-20- 60 change the first 2 bowlers!!
21-30- 46 ok
31-40- 39 v good
41-50: 70 have a better strategy!!

Default 252/8

why not, what do i have to lose??

here is chance for bangladesh to redeem themselves. they can last 50 overs and chase 5 an over if they really wanted to. in fact, as a test team they must prove themselves right here, right now. it's all or nothing.

Default I\'ll tell you what you have to lose

the respect you have gained on the board in the last months.

See if you predict 152, like Handle, and BD scores 252, everyone is too happy to notice. But if you predict 252 and BD scores 152, people get angry and need to point fingers. Who do they choose to point their fingers at? The blighter that jinxed us by predicting 252. In this case, thats right, its you Rafiq bhai.

Ask Tehsin bhai, he has received considerable abuse for his jinxing abilities in the past.

Default Bangladesh innings

Players are coming out.
252 to win. Huge target considering our batting vulnerability.
