The BD lineup...

Golla
Hannan
Ash
Sumon
Rokon
Kapali
Sanwar
Sujon
Pilot
Taposh
Monjur
Anwar

Surprisingly, Masri and Rafiq is not in the team.

This is suppossed to be a practice opportunity, yet, we decide to bowl instead of batting practice, despite winning the toss.

Dav apparently found no fault with tapash, and he is the fittest of bowlers.

Default Nash, Payne and Hopes all gone

Now all they need is my friend Leeca
None of the others can bat.......i mean c'mon Hauri's at 6......i wonder why my mate Nick "Spud" Kruger isn't playing

Bowlingwise i would watch out for McKenzie, Hauritz, Hopes and even Leeca

Default Rundown of Qld side

Nash- Lives nearby to me, played for Qld for a couple of seasons......scored a few first-class hundreds....great player

Payne- Heard little things about him in tour matcheslike this. Brilliant 18-19 yr old. Played a couple of games for Qld late last year

Leeca- Played about 6 seasons for QLD....first couple of years couldn't get more than 30.....was scoring hundreds and captaining Valleys to the South East Qld Championship.....last year scored a couple of hundreds for Qld and scored double-centuries in tour matches against South Africa and England.....complemented me on my technique

Nye-never heard of him

Hopes- played a couple of seasons for Qld good medium pace bowler.....can get runs on the board quickly.....mainly used for one-dayers

Hauritz- played half-a-dozen ODI's for Australia....i personally would have picked him for the WC ahead of Hogg

Hartley- who?

MacKenzie- playeda couple of Pura Cup games for Qld as a fast bowler

Rest of them i've never heard of

thanks for the run down on the players, H-fan: which one is Leeca?

Nice to see tapash and all the pacers applying themselves. sanwar, kapali and mahmud aren't doing much, however, but at least 10/3 and 110/4 at lunch were a couple of things we can cheer about

Don't want to sound negative, but I think we shouldn't set our batting that high into the 400. For now 300 or around will do it for me.

These guys needs all the confidence that they can get from this game. They should bat 3/4 sessions straight.

Default Well Done Bangladesh !!!

Nice to see a good performance against Queensland. Also nice to see that the BD players are actually thinking that they can win.

I think Queensland are a strong team as the match is a 4-dayer and not a 3-dayer.

All i can say is - GO BANGLADESH, WIN THIS ONE !!!

Bowling Queensland out for 201, Hope BD hit atleast 250.

We need to think more in line with Whatmore. I don't think we should think about scoring 400 or 300 or whatever. Lets look for a some individual improvements. This is a practice game and our players have to try out in the middle the stuff that Whatmore has taught them. It might not work at first, but that doesn't matter. I am hoping that the batsmen will go out there and try really hard not to make the mistakes that they are known for making.

As for the bowling, good performance by BD. That is how it should be when Test sides play local XIs. If we can draw this match, I'll be extremely happy.

Default ditto

we are struggling at 27/2 as expected... we will do VERY well not to lose this 4 day match. there will probably be a result especially if we don't bat well in the first innings. about scoring 300-400, wow, when is the last time Bangladesh did that, there's no way we should expect that here.
