I doubt whether he has the temperament to make it that big. He always plays a loose shot after getting settled. That has been the story for him so far in ODI cricket. Hopefully he rectifies himself as quickly as possible.

I am agree with nadim. we should drop Robin & get nazmul if he fits, otherwise get dollar mahmud istead Robin. I would say, if Bd will bat 350+ will be safe.... as bulaway is batting beauty!

I second that. This opening duo are in good rythm. Let them open till the world cup.

He should be given a bowl even if no one gets injured, they have already won the series, he cannot do worse than the other bowlers.

If you look back at the series so far harldy any batsman has been got out, its all been down to poor batting, so if one side can bat without giving there wickets away 400 is possible

This is exactly why cricket aint fun any more. If a score of 350 is not safe in a pitch, then why use bowlers? we cud rather use bowling machines and make it a complete batters game.
Pretty dissapointed with the pitches to be honest, way too many runs.
A pitch where 250~ is a fighting score would be ideal for developing teams. Otherwise, they will continuosly drwon in the ocean callled "test" cricket

I agree. It is the bowling which has been absolutely crap apart from few instances for both teams.

I just hope that Aftab and Alok can make it back to the natiional team, they can bat and bowl, and dont forget that they are good fielders, especially Aftab who IMO is one of the 3 best fielders in BD Nat. team.

Sakib has changed his batting strategy, he is not showing the same patience he showed, and batting as if he is playing a 20/20 game, has he forgotten it is a 50 over game?
I hope that he shows better captaincy in the last ODI.

Zimbabwe batsmen better practice hard before leaving for Bangladesh. Because SBNS @ Mirpur is now a low scoring ground. If you dont agree please check last few ODI played in SBNS.

However, with ashraful in the team bowling can sometimes be a bonus. Imrul maybe could also be replaced by naeem islam.

One more match to go to set some more batting records. Perhaps another chance at 194? Bulawayo rocks!

Comment to raise an eyebrow from the link above:
"The batting has steadily improved with Charles Coventry beginning to find himself in the international arena, Mark Vermeulen's superb comeback and the return of Sean Williams from self-imposed retirement."
I know he scored that 92 in the opening game, but pretty ordinary for the rest of the games. Far from a "superb" comeback.

I did not see the Zim batting in the 4th ODI, but any ideas why Shakib didn't continue with Ash as effective as he was?
I'm sure the thoughts were that Ash will get hit and often that's how he gets those breakthrough wickets as hitters take him on.....but the guy gave up 11 runs in 4 overs. He should've bowled him some more until he started to get hit.

Its been decent enough just needs a little more consistancy but he looks solid and it will take him a while to get back to his best
