Tsunami Cricket Auction: Highest Bidder Did Not Pay!!!!!!
The highest auction bidder for Batting Tips from Tendulker and playing Shane Warne for one over at Lords during today’s Tsunami Match did not pay!! As a result the auction project has been cancelled. The highest bids came from people who had no intention of paying. How could people do that??
MCC was not able to allow the next highest legitimate bidder because of insufficient time. That legitimate winner thought he lost the bid and thus was not ready to come to Lord’s at short notice. The MCC said in a statement: "As the auction ended on Saturday afternoon, there has been insufficient time to arrange for the highest legitimate bidder to come to Lord's."
I guess some sick bus***rd tried to make a joke out of this!!!

I just found out that the e-bay ID of this criminal is "cjbuch007". I sent an "Shame on you" e-mail to that crook. If you are angry like me, you can also unleash some of your rage on him by going to Ebay member feedback page of "cjbuch007"

I found out about this e-bay ID by going into the original Tsunami Appeal Auction Page. See the link below:

Well said.
Why the hell they have to use ebay for this?
I guess those Lords/MCC people are so much into tradition that they don't even have the courage to embrace new technology.

I blame the human race
Day by day my views are getting dimmer and I suspect the day of judgement is even nearer than we think.

I don't have much feelings for this "incident".
If somebody's willing to help the tsunami victims by donating big ammount of money, then why it have to be through this kind of show-off things? Donating silently should be a much better option.

Actually people are not donating here.
People were buying the opportunity.
Actual donors were Shane Warne and Sachin Tendulker who agreed to spend time in the middle with the bid winner. This way, it’s win-win situation.

STill this is sad that they did this. If you wont pay why did u do this. It is for charity. Instead the organisers should have had the auction during the first innings. Those who want to bid can come in and bid. Then the highest will be called down to the feild.

According to e-bay the hoaxer's location is in India. That fact alone should have raised flags. Given the nature of the event and the fact that it was going to be held at Lord's means the auction should have been open to UK residents only.
