If u talk about power, did ashraful had a miscal power when he put down mighty austrilia( that time they were gaint).? U need a common sense to play cricket.... U need to learn how to face opption when they were 68/8 & u lose the game moron. When u score 326 still u lose the game. Look at netherland, how they put down England & was inches away from South Africa. So cut the bs here..... U sakib thats why u will be remain after t20 World Cup.... But there razzak, nasir, gazi, reza, samsur, will be cut for long... Might u r friend tamim too. Without u musy did well in the past... So screw u sakib & better play cricket like a man otherwise let the spot go for new some one like mossadekk allrounder whos knocking the door... Good bye.

Ar koto expectation lower korbo?

I can understand the team is not performing well but we should still be able to beat Afghanistan and HK even during an off-day, especially at home turf. And fans have every right to expect more out of this lot. If we can beat NZ, WI, India, SL over time, there is no reason to expect so much more from the team.

Shakib is just making up some excuses. I accept that our domestic tournaments and coaching staffs are not upto the mark, but we have some players with plenty of potential. But what happened to them is not due to poor coaching staff or domestic structure, but because of the complacency of the players and their unwillingness to do hard work. Oh, and to add being distracted from cricket just like what happened to Nasir.

Lets boycott this match from going to stadium and let them play pressure free. If he finds it tough to play in front of his home crowd then we should not go nor even watch on tele.

Shakib's responses justify Vaughan & Ganguly's recent comments. I have lost tiny little bit of respect that I had for Mr. Hasan. Respect is earned, not given.

It doesn't matter whether he tells the truth or not, its his tone that's alarming. He is a senior player and an ex-captain. Surely he knows why we are underpar and what needs to be done. In fact we all know that. I won't give him much for pointing out the obvious. We, the unprivileged common people expect him to sound a bit more grateful and Respectful.

He missed all the vital catches... He missed too many things to describe... I know he is a good cricketer... But some one need to show the reality which he didnt saw last 2.5 years....

and you guys wanna make him our captain? hmmm...i don't know which interview was worse....his or mushfiques.

But i understand most of shakibs answer came from a lot of misplaced "cockiness" rather than anything...

I don't appreciate (not even from a banglar son) commenting on people's love for bd. Birth of bd was due to brave men and women.... i don't agree with his made up number of 90% of ppl would back away if they had to show their love for their country..... his comments are just like his batting or bowling... many brain farts....

These are not actuallly orange/mango juices. Most of them in bangladesh are made from pumpkin with lots of preservatives and colors.
These might not be harmful but this is not the orange Shakib is referring to..

can't read bangla, wish i could. agree shakib falls short in many aspects when it comes to being a perfect captain but he'd certainly make better on field decisions giving a better chance of a win i've no doubt about that. seems to have been rather negative lately in interviews though, maybe mushy is getting to him....

I guess wrongfully asked question really. It's not just a base salary.... Bangladesh is providing you a platform to make millions of dollars.. (ads, ipl)..... You might have not been so lucky had you born in a different country..... Yes, players owe Bangladesh for the opportunity.
