The hill will remain. The stadium is situated in one of the scenic area of Sylhet. Very close to Lakkatura Tea Estate. The ground was part of a Golf course. It is so close to Osmani International Airport that you can fly in from Dhaka (30-45 minute) watch the game and take the evening flight back providing domestic careers like "Regent" and "United" take advantage on a international match day.

Looks meh. Boring. Why can't they change the design for once, FGS?

The structure is already there. By changing the design Sylhet's chance of hosting any international match in next 10 years will be burnt to ashes. As a Sylhetty myself I dont want to see that happening. I would like to see a good quality stadium not a sky scrapper that will be unused for 364 days out of 365 days.

I am not asking for a skyscraper, happy with one tier stands! I just want it to have it's own identity in terms of architecture. The hills are there but perhaps, they could have gone with something unique instead of those boring roof which are already present at Mirpur and probably, Chittagong.

I would like to keep the hill but it needs a touch from good landscape architect.

Lets not get too excited. I just hope the pitch is a good one and not a square pitch like the one suggested in the photo.

I am worried too, but not about the look and structure, more about the frenzied and fanatical nature of hardcore followers of Sylheti politics.

Quote:
