Petition to appoint Mushfiqur Rahim as captain of Bangladesh

I really don't see it changing anything. Of course unless Shakib doesn't want to be a captain anymore then ya I would have him but let him be more consistent 1st. A century against Zimbabwe shouldn't make you a captain. Shakibs done that already. And also Mushy was the captain for the U19 team when we were the favorites and then we ended up being in 9th place. So I don't see his captaincy doing wonders for us.

This won't solve anything. It will probably just end up ruining whatever confidence Mushfiq had.

Now I don't think Sakib is the best captain. He contributes better as player than captain, but at this time, I don't think there is anyone better.

^^ @Crisis, one match to be fair as he scored a 59 in the first ODI. He's scored 2 fifties and a maiden century this year but I can't remember the last time he played a lone hand in actually winning Bangladesh a match. Today, was so, so close....

Mushy's scores in the last 6 matches (last 2 series) were 44*, 81*, 1, 59, 12, 101 and you're asking after how many matches he played a good knock? The answer is after a single match. *facepalm*

Sakib-ul-Hasan should be sacked from captaincy. Mushfiq need to be changed. He is too short for a wicket-keeper. His only qualification is that he sometime bats well like the 3rd odi agnst zim.

Mushy captained under 19 team for long time and he was quite good during his period. Hopefully the next captain of Bangladesh will Mushy and best of luck to Shakib becuz like Ash may be he will also end up getting sacked!!
