2nd Test: BD-U19 vs Eng-U19
The 2nd U19 Test match between BD and England will start on 08/10/04 at Somerset CCC, Taunton. Start time is 10:00 AM GMT. Hope the boys will carry on their majestic forms. The coach said its a batting pitch. We hope to see larger innings from our boys.
Cricinfo will provide live commentary. Good luck tigers.
Report from coach McInnes on the previous 2 day game:
535 in a day was a good effort, although I was disappointed with the boys as we did not bat the day out, which was our goal. We failed to bat the last 5.5 overs. Some irresponsible batting from the lower order robbed them of some good practice prior to the test.
The English side never attempted to chase the target unfortunately and struggled along to be 298 for 8 from 104 overs at stumps. We were playing it like a limited overs game with 104 over per side, so in effect we won the match, but we would like to have bowled them out.
However given the fact that they made no attempt to score we had to make to game at least interesting by attacking the whole day.
The three boys who will play in the champion's trophy were obviously very happy, but realise they have a job to do over the next few days, so that is our priority right now. Test starts tomorrow, so looking forward to a good performance in this match.

McInnes sounds good, and analyzing the game very professional way.
Hope the boys will not disappoint him this time.
Expecting something different and honorable from the boys.
Good luck.

Result of the 2 day match
Was it a win or draw?
Since the match was played on the precondition of 104 overs each and not on the basis of 2 innings per side, the result goes in favor of Banglasdesh.
So, BD won by 237 runs.

Still no hint on the strength of this side. Is it the same one that played us in the three day match? If so, is it the U-19 A team?

Cricinfo is showing Shamsur Rahman is not playing today and Nazimuddin instead of him. He did well in the first test! Cricinfo could be wrong!
Good luck! Show some real tiger's attitude!

Flying start caused Nafis Iqbal's wicket.
Why they are playing like an ODI?

I wonder how they will feel rest of the match,
just after being selected for the national team.
Sitting on the bench rest of the innings and thinking what?
