...in other news, Abul Mal Abdul Muhith (aka VATman) has imposed 15% VAT on his own team. That means Sylhet will have to field 9.35 players per match instead of 11!

Make Sabbir the captain for Sylhet. Let the boy take the added responsibility.
We have limited future option for captaincy for Bangladesh, if he does well, he can add his name to list.

^No thanks. Kapali dada, or even Abul Hasan :P. We want a local captain, preferably. If not, then an international.

Like to see what Sabbir is about in terms of captaincy.
If he does well that's one more option for us we are yet to find future replacement for Mash.
If they don't make Sabbir captain, I hope Soumya/Liton or some youngsters in different team are given captaincy duty.

Sabbir would be the worse captain. He can't cement his place as a player, captaincy will relax him more. As he knows he will be selected.

Depends on the format.
Sabbir is the first name in T20I format.
Consistent in that format also.
Let's see who gets the captaincy. He could captain national T20 team, if successful.

sylhet has the chance to pick Mustafiz and nafees too as they will get the option to pick three players from the draft at first..

Wow.
That would mean Sylhet will have strong local lineup.
BTW? How come So abul hasan, Abu Jayed signed before the draft?

I reckon his the next T20 sensation from West Indies.
Nasir will be ok. I think.

I would be happy if they avoid trying to bring something original to the table
let them copy than come up with some river names.

Sylhet will play a small city called Dhaka!
Opening match of BPL.
Why open the match with Dhaka? Come on? It won't be a sell out.
Should have been Sylhet Vs Chittagong or someone else.. anyways.

If you say so, fine. But who will support him? Nasir who cant clear boundaries, Nurul who cant connect or the legend Hom?
Your only hope is Babar and McCarthy (if he's as good as you claim). Additionally, just hope that Shabbir gets on song.

Abul Hasan alone will rip Dhaka into pieces! That would be delightful.
In terms of the tournament. Sabbir/Babar crucial. McCarthy could be special..
If we can get a solid AR before BPL starts, that will help.

A BPL without pont is like cricket without India. They are made for each other.
