Virtually the Zimbabwe one day side will play a full strength Canada side, which is a 3rd division side.
A loss here would be an embarressment for ZImbabwe.

I am one of the daring few, who follow Zimbabwean cricket. They are now officially a lost cause. Give it 5 more years cricket will die down their very soon.

Currently Canada are 41/0 10th over

Good start,expected better from Chatara,
Zimbabwe 1 bowler short, means a lot of part time spin.

This is a Zim ODI team (under the A team disguise) at home against Canada.

They should be able to win though. However, it is not going to be a convincing win from the looks of it.

Canada 248/6.
Zim currently 113/3.

I can't complain much because we lost to Canada in a WC game.

Getting tight. Both set batsmen are out.
165/5 37 overs.

Canada has the upper hand now. For Zim 84 needed in 13 overs.

Many of these Canadian guys I know them personally...Junaid Siddiqui went to University with me @ Brock.....he was our Captain...very nice and humble guy.....I was mainly umpiring and coordinating tournaments with other Unis

When I was umpiring in Brampton-Etobicke Cricket League...i have seen Rizwan Cheema, Cecil Parvez, Saad bin Zafar playing...there are lots of talents no doubt...but everyone plays these as part timer....there are many players who are actually born in Canada and learnt cricket here.

Zim won by 2 wickets.

Well played Canada. Hopefully they can continue their batting forms and win few matches. I hope they can qualify to play in Division 2.

I am wondering what happened to the Captain, Nitish Kumar?

Ireland has a chance of going past Zimbabwe in the ODI rankings if they beat Bangladesh tomorrow.

That's huge.
