Default Your Eleven for New Zealand Tour 2019

Taskin, Nayeem, even Mehdi Hasan the one from Comilla. No Shafiul please, he is tried and tested and doesn’t work internationally.

As for batsmen. I’d give Shamsur, Sabbir, Anamul recalls for the T20s. If there is t20 matches lined up.

What do selectors see in Shafiul ? He is as bad as Abul Hasan...

I would pick Kamrul Islam Rabbi as additional pacer.

Tasking and Shafiul - none them should be picked. But if I have to pick one from them, I will choose Shafiul.

plz no Taskin and no Shafiul.

If you want 5 pacers then go with Mash, Fizz, Rubel and pick from Abu Hider, Abu Jayed, Rabbi, Saifuddin, Khaled etc..

Please no Shafiul. He would be an utter fail in those conditions or any condition for that matter.

Taskin could be an option for ODIs but he would not play ahead of Mash, Rubel, and Fizz anyway. And we already have Rony riding the bench.

Tamim Iqbal
Shadman Islam
Mominul Haque
Mushfiqur Rahim
Shakib Al Hasan (c)
Mahmudullah Riyad
Liton Das (wk)
Nayeem Hasan
Abu Jayed Rahi

Mustafizur Rahman

Bench: Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Mithun Ali

ODI
Tamim Iqbal
Liton Das (wk)
Shakib Al Hasan
Mushfiqur Rahim
Mithun Ali
Mahmudullah Riyad
Mohammad Saifuddin
Mehedi Hasan Miraz
Mashrafe Mortaza (c)
Rubel Hossain
Mustafizur Rahman

Bench: Soumya Sarkar, Nazmul Islam Opu, Imrul Kayes, Abu Haider Rony

Poor Shafiul Islam looks mal-nourished. His kotore-grostho eyes and sunken face remind me of 1930s/40s era Frankenstein.

Well according to cricbuzz mash has asked for sabbir to be included so we are looking at his ban being reduced and him being part of the NZ odi series.

^ Good. I think Mash is wise for that. I know Rinat can't stand Sabbir, but I look at it like this:

We now finally seem to get it that guys like Junaid, Shamsur and Talukdar, dare I say even Ayub were wrong to be discarded so quickly. I feel like we will have the same conversations about guys like Soumya, Liton and Sabbir if we throw them out now. Most of our guys need time to get their act together . Rahim was a basket case for the first 100 or so games in his career. Some of these guys do not get to play even 50 games before we pull the plug on them.

Don’t understand the obsession some have for Hider Rony. He has been tried and tested, oo option. But got to take this big lad Khaled Ahmed, he is the future. Got to groom him into the LOI arena. He can get bounce and carry. He bowls seam up well. Mash is slow, fizz shd rubel both slingy action and better old ball bowlers, you got to have a good new ball bowler, who bowls with the seam upright well. In England at the worldcup early on ball will do stuffs, first 6-8 overs!

Choosing between Taskin and Shafiul is like choosing between transformers or Justice league movies. You can't win with those options

We are going to be 3 4 wickets down in no time in the NZ tour and then Shakib Mushfiq will have to repair the innings as usual. Liton, Soumya, Shabbir, Mithun will be walking wickets in NZ conditions.

Sabbir is talented but he’s currently under a ban and has not done anything to earn a recall, I’m not saying discard him but he needs to earn the recall.

I think Imrul Kayes is unfortunate to miss out on the ODI squad.
