Dear Mods, if Out_You_Go bhaya and you guys don't mind, please merge this thread with the other Celebration thread. Otherwise I fear this will get lost and the conversations here will go unnoticed by the readers and posters. Thank you, dear bhais.

Congratulations to the Tigresses

I see that they're playing in the Netherlands next month for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers. I've been trying to find a website to buy tickets; if anyone knows of one, please DM me. Would love to go see them play against the Netherlands on the 8th of July in Utrecht

The cricket club that hosts matches traditionally also sells tickets try contacting them

I doubt this will be a sell out and you should be easily getting tickets.

Shamim must have been really chuffed he got the job to do commentary.

He corrected himself from saying batsman to batter quite a few times.

Some Indian commie also was making fun of Shamim and saying since the cricketer Shamima is at the crease Shamim will also be there

BDFlag Champions

A big congratulations to our Women Cricket Team for winning Women's Asia Cup - 2018.

While the men's team loses to AFG by 3 - 0, our tigresses turn around drastically after losing to SL in the 1st match. They beat IND, PAK, THI and MAL to qualify for the final and beat 6 times winner IND again to become the new champions. I hope this is just the beginning of your great future.

4 overs. bowled a clear no-ball full toss to Nigar Sultana at 15.2 overs. The catch was taken at mid-wicket. The 3rd umpire game it out as well (will remind you of the infamous no-ball against our men's team in the last WC). Amazingly, the commies justify it by saying a waist-high full-toss from a spinner is not threatening enough!!! (Never heard of such rule). BTW, Nigar was a set batsman by then. Watch it at 11:52.
The law is ambiguous. When it comes to slower bowlers delivering their normal slow deliveries, the international umpires tend to be lineant in not calling a no ball. If it was a quicker delivery, that would have been a dead on no ball.

This is kinda an unspoken rule in cricket. If it's not threatening, no call.

Congrats on being champions. The real question now is how far can they go. Can they take on England and Australia?
