100% record against India
You know how certain section of the media likes to 'manage' the stats by including or excluding certain teams from legitimate statictical evaluations. Well, here ones for the books.
With our win against India, we now have a 100% record against them in the world cup. How about them apples ? We also have 100% record against Pakistan.
On the downside, Canada and Kenya hold 100% records against us. Do realize that we met these teams almost 4-8 years ago and we don't have 90% of the players that represented Bangladesh in those matches in the current team. Heck, we just THUMPED Kenya 3-0 in the most recent three match series which was played in KENYA, not in our backyard. How about a reminder of those scores:
Ken 168, 49.1 lost to BD 170/4, 30.1 by 6 wickets
Ken 184, 46.3 lost to BD 185/8, 46 by 2 wickets, AND
Ken 118, 41.2 lost to BD 120/4, 27 by 6 wickets.
Wonder if our friend ASIFASIF saw this scores. Heck, those people who still claim Kenya is better then us only show their idiocy and lack of their knowledge of INternational cricket. If you run across any of them, SHUT THEM UP with FACTs. They need to wake up and start getting thier 'news' from real sources, not some sore loser writing match reports and articles from their grand mothers basement.
One last thing, we get shocked when we lose to these teams but we don't go into hiding behind lame excuses. We watch the games with our eyes, follow them closely with our ears and have enough cricket sense to realize the difference between a fluke and a planned execution.

Tehsin bhai, ajkal dekhi boss khub shundor shundor lekha likhtesen. Kotha 100% khati bolsen. Trinidad e boshe mone hoy amadigoke khub miss korchen?
There's only one thing I will suggest. Instead of "If you run across any of them, SHUT THEM UP with FACTs" we should rather do this: "If you run across any of them, JUST LAUGH AT THEM AND IGNORE THEM...FACTS WON'T HELP STRAIGHTEN UP MOST OF THEIR USELESS PRIDE".
Ki bolen?

Good SRajesh stats there Tehsin. And don't be ashamed of using that name. I want SRajesh to become synonymous with misguided or ill-intentioned stats.

I am yet to understand you guys anger against S Rajesh. Maybe i missed something cos i wasn't following Cricket for sometime.
I do know though that S Rajesh is an excellent statistician (and one who made the number game so popular).

It doesn't matter who we have now, because if the batsmen don't go out there with a plan on how to play certain type of deliveries, they are bound to be clueless and fall to the trap again. Ash and Tushar was his victim.
the ball hits the pad and your bat is behind the pad, tough to get the bat ahead of the pad so fast. So I want to know what are batsmen learned and prepared for tomorrow?
Malinga will give moving yorkers, touch to know where the sling ball touches the ground because it comes in an angle in a curve motion, and Maharaoof's bouncer will come, hope they do not put the bat up and give a catch.

DJ, do a search for SRajesh here and you'll find plenty of incriminating evidence. Suffice to say that his subjective stats leave a lot to be desired. And go look up the article he wrote extolling Monty Panesar or the one where he discusses SLAs while ignoring Rafique altogether. If after reading those you still feel he's a swell guy - well than we'll just have to agree to disagree
