Good to see my boy Samsu doing well. I’ve always liked his style. And think BD missing the right handed partner for Tamim..

The sample of chances he had at odi were small. Free flowing batsmen, has all the shots, deadly on flat wicket. Yes you may say flat wicket, anyone can be deadly. Really? Like Anamul was in the odi series first match? Or todays t20, mullah was?
Sometimes you need proper FTB’s. Samsu was excellent bpl3 because wickets were batting friendly. And in t20s wickets has to be batting type.

Shamsur Rahman is very aggressive but has poor technique. put him up against some quality seam bowling on a green track and see how long he lasts...

Surprised by the lack of discussion of domestic cricket, guess interest in BD cricket has lessened, I remember the days when quite a number of posters would follow the matches live and post as the matches went on but now barely anyone comments on an entire round of domestic cricket.

Towhid and afif showing why they are prospects to stick by and give opportunities to, would be very disappointed if they don't get some A team time in the near future.

Towhids 17. Shows a lot of ability for his age. Worth keeping an eye on.

BC is a shell of what it used to be. I think the last time there was any real buzz here was during the 2015 world cup. Been a very dead place since then.

A ghost forum.

Threads that happens to deal with domestic tournaments should always be stickied...if it gets lost down here, interest will not be there...

Wouldn’t get lost if people were interested and posting...it’d always be at the top then...no point in putting a sticky on something posters aren’t interested in...

That's a fair point also.

Keeping a close eye on both Afif and Towhid. Afif isn't very far from the national team and Towhid should also be in the mix.

Anamul on the other hand scoring consistently across every format. I think he should get another series.

why don't we have t20 leagues among local players beside the BPL??
this will give a chance to develop, adopt for the local boys in T20 format as far T20 is going to be the future of cricket.
BCB should think of having a t20 league among local players beside the BPL.

And as I say that he gets out, his team is doomed now, nurul needed to take his team home.

BCB have planned it already. I think the league will be held soon enough, maybe during the IPL season

It will be good for skill development and selection for BPL. BPL teams select players based on coach's preferance. Now team owners can judge on the basis of performanc ein another league.

That is a double plus.

Also more income and more cricket, that is always good

Great news! I'm surprised. Actually I'm shocked that BCB has taken the initiative.

Although afif hasn't carried on and gotten 3 figures he has been consistently scoring runs with the bat, chipping in with the ball getting wickets here and there.
