If I'm not mistaken the national partnership record is something around 430 held by Ashraful and Ayub. That was when Ashraful scored 267. Congrats Ayub keep going!

He's now scored the 3rd highest score in Bangladesh history. Only Ashraful 267 and Raqibul 313* have scored more.

2- First Bangladeshi batsmen to score 2 Double century in on FC season
3- Currently holds the highest batting partnership (469) with Mehrab Jnr breaking his own record which he had with Ashraful (420)
4- Currently holds the record of most FC runs scored by a Bangladeshi player in one season (1020)

Need to give this guy a chance at no. 3 in tests. Tired of seeing the endless cycle of Junaid, Nafees and Ash.

This is crazy. Two double centuries in one season is not just random. He is scoring so consistantly, it would be hard to ignore him for national team now.

Never seen him play. Atahar Alir moto khelle thik ache, kintu abar Dickens/Fickens er moto durghotona-marka batting na to?

I'm still tempted to say A team first and a couple of more seasons. But again, haven't seen him play, so maybe he's ready. But then who would he replace? The middle order is packed.

in an interview, long long ago, his father clarified it!
he named his son after west indian great Malcom Marshall & Indian off-spinner Arshad Ayub.

Since then i hv been keeping an eye on his progress. Until this season, he had disappointed me.

At long last, he is shining with the bat that too in grand style!
Good luck!

Dickens is Bd's Graham Hick. In international becomes a chicken. But, I like Faisal Hossain (Dickens) he has been quite an outstanding performer in our FC league. Unfortunately, was from the wrong generation and, therefore, lack of quality coaching and cricket.

Marshall Ayub has been competing during arguably the best BD (professional) cricket generation. Therefore, he should be of different mould.
