Default Sampras takes out Tommy Hass

"Show some mercy, Pete" Haas yelled across the court.

Yes, that what the young ones can only ask for even now. But the champ replied with back-to-back aces to close out the second game of the second set. No mercy, lol.

As for federer fans, don't be concerned. He is not coming back. "There's no reason for me to come back," Sampras said. "I don't miss the limelight, I don't need the money. The tricky thing for me is I didn't stop for injury but for emotional reasons. I didn't have anything left in the tank. There has to be a reason to come back. There's a whole lot to lose and not much to gain. I don't want to come back for Wimbledon and win a couple of matches. What would that mean to me? I play to win."

SAP Open exibition match.

Next for Sampras is another exhibition against Federer on March 10 at Madison Square Garden. Ki Sadi kisu photo tuila ashta!!

Wimbledon Sapmras !!! He could comeback make it to the 2nd week .. it would e the highlight of my sports year or if he somehow beat federer in a Match that counted it would solidify himself as the GOAT fed could win 20 slams and I'd still say he played in 2 player era Nadal-Federer ... now Djokavic looks like the next #1 a three man era.

Fed wants no part of that serve

It's an exo. Sampras was struggling to get past the 2nd round of Wimbledon back in 2002, I guess since he is much younger now, he will be able to wildcard his way up to the final and beat the current 5-time champ. That makes complete sense.

exo's for pro players is just a way for them to make a big pay check with minimal effort, they really don't care that much about them and don't put 100% into those matches.

Well, I was a big time Sampras fan all the way. I used to imitate Sampras's moves when I was very young, from the signature service motion to swiping the sweat off my forehead using just the index finger. I think Federer is just about the perfect tennis player I have ever seen. Anybody who has played tennis will tell you the same thing. Sampras's serve was something else though.

Fed almost perfect. Untill he gets his French. He is way above the current lot, yes, I would attest to that.

I don't see the reason to state the obvious. 12 Grand Slams in 4.5 years pretty much seal that. By the time he finishes his career, he will be way above all kinds of lots, including Sampras.

i think federer will find it much tougher to win slams now. he really only use to have nadal on his tail at wimbledon and the french, nadal keeps edging closer to him at wimbledon and now djoko has come on the scene and he's a genuine contender on all surfaces. so federer is going to have much more pressure on him at all the slams as opposed to only a couple and he's also going to have to play better to get the titles. tbh it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't win any slams this year, although i'd like to see him win the next 3. he's still very much in it, but now there are 2 other players that are also very much in it.

It would surprise me if Federer doesn't win any slam this year.

Unfortunately, Federer gets to play only in the current era. I think he would have had similar results in other eras as well. For example, if he played in the 1990s, Sampras would surely not get to 14, or Agassi to 8.

Well, I'm a hard-core Federer fan but I would not mind for this kinda defeat. After all Murray is a British.

LOL. Fata basher ki deklen. Fata basher moto All time great re oshikar kortesen to apne nijei.kothakar agasa batashar sathe always compare koren. Federer r kono GS jituk r nai jituk he will remain as all time best.apni nijeo janen beparta. We can't expect him to win every single match.jodu modur kase to hare nai. Murray has that ability. Murray just needs to control his temper if he wanna be a top 5 player. But honestly speaking, I was kinda surprised as this was second in a row.It is just the second time since 2003 that Federer loses two consecutive matches.

Sampras is in for Hideous beatdown come march 10th right? Or could it be the other way around? Dubai to New York is a long flight. Federer knew what he was doing packing his bags a liitle early for New York. The Draw is ridiculous playing Murray in the 1st round he couldn't even play his rust off in the 1st round.

Looking foward to next monday

Roddick announced that he and Connors split. He announced it after he beat Rafael Nadal.

Sampras is an old geezer. Federer isn't sweating a lot about an exhibition.

Default Sampras vs Federer 2nite

It's on TV for people living in New York, but if you don't have MSG or the Tennis Channel USTA is streaming it for free

The online link starts showing commercials in the middle of the game. Annoying.
