Honestly when I was watching the match and watched the 1st 20 overs or so, I realized that it'd be a very difficult match to win. This was a really flat pitch and it was ideal for the Sri Lankan batsmen. Forget about us, I think most teams would have a hard time beating the Lankans on this pitch imo.

Fortunately, we have Scotland next. That'll be a tough game as well as the Scottish fight till the end so we'll have to play well but a win here and we can get some confidence back. Have to take it 1 game at a time

bhai, undue glorification of the opponents can be an excuse at best, but that doesn't make us look better, neither helps us to improve. It's a failure on our part, we didn't play a competitive match, we didn't have the intent, we looked nervous, we displayed severe lack of skills on a flat track, almost none of the top of the dismissals were Srilankan bowlers credit, we threw it, leave aside winning or losing.

If we accept our failure and not make any attempt to make an excuse of our failures, we will improve. It's convenient for all to take a cover behind such excuses and keep doing the same thing. No Excuses, losing is acceptable, but what they put up on display, isn't acceptable... No excuse for those.

Our top experience batsman panics even more. They still don't understand in the game there is only winning and losing and nothing in between. Still panic so much they forget how to hold the bat.
