Default Congratulations Bangladesh for presenting us with a brilliant WI series

Test
556 - first time ever reaching over 500.
Nayeem's 100
Abul's 100 - second debutant in the world since 1902 to score a 100 @10
Nasir 96,97
Shakib's 89,97
Shohag's 9 wickets and also taking the highest number of wickets (12)
Shakib achieving his milestone of 100 wickets

ODI
What more can we say the series win.
Musfik's highest score achievement
Razzak's highest wicket taking achievement
Anamul's 120
Our biggest margin of winning in the second ODI (160)
Not to mention about Sunny's the most memorable moment

T20
First time in T20 history team batting second losing just 1 wicket but still lost the match. I say that is briliant on its own.
TI and Riyad both scored their highest scores so far.

Thank you Team Bangladesh

Always proud of you

Nice thread!! Overall, a mixed series. But it was entertaining throughout the 1st test and the ODI series.

Brilliant, reallyÉ

It was rather a good one IMHO.

The biggest concern is Mushy - his keeping is costing us dearly.

Before the series had you asked me that you would lose Shakib to a girl for ODIs and T20 and would win the series and compete in T20, I'd say you are crazy.

Hats of to the BD team. The selectors gets a big cheer for going outside the box. So is the Team management. We played with one pacer (fast, medium, slow pacers) and I think this is the first time ever for us. I am not sure in the world as well.

I am tickled to death to know we won a SERIES without Shakib. That says we have turned a corner.

There are problems. Those will get sorted out inn course of time. I so wished Mushi would have given up gloves to Anam today. Samuels Innings wasn't suppose to be there. Riyad is a quick learner. He would next time go after bowlers after creating the platform instead of waiting for his fifty.

good limited overs series for bangladesh ..BD has always been a competitive side off late in LOIs..They desperately need a steady Pacer though..But the way they are into this win at any cost attitude mindset is good to see..unlike the play out 50 overs mantra...

Shakib scored 97 by the way in that test match. But these things you have just mentioned just shows that Bangladesh are not minnows anymore. Our next assignment is away to Sri Lanka and as long as we have our best player back and gain more confidence from our second edition of BPL then that Test and ODI series against them will be even easier for us.

Can you add Shakib getting married to the ODI section?

3-5. Not all that bad. Could've easily been a lot better.

The best part was Chris Gayle beshi shubidha kortey parey nai bat diya.

Chris Gayle
Test ave 42.08 @BD Test avg 29.33 with a 20 notout. In three innings his average was 22.66
ODIs 38.85 @BD ODI avg 14.4
T20 36.48 @BD T20 avg 6. 4th in most T20 runs in the world, 4th in highest average in the world who played 15+ innings.

Congrats the coaching stuff to have a plan against Chris Gayle. Congrats to the players to execute those plans perfectly.

no big prize from BCB as it seems, but every player gets 1 lakh taka for the ODI series win from Jatiyo Krira Porishod

^ Shakib too, if he had converted the 89 and the 97 to centuries he would have 4 lakh taka to go towards his Den Mohor...

Agree 100% ... Except the highlight...

We have seen it repeatedly throughout his career, that's Riyad and you just have to take him the way he is and find out when and how to use his capability. Put him high up in Test Matches, Send him in 4/5 in ODIs and Drop him from T20... That's the solution, instead of expecting a player can change his mind at this stage...then Many of our players could in last 10 years. Some things are inherent and can't be changed. Better not to expect impossibles.

Definitely I am happy with the performance of O D I series. But last year when W I visited Bangladesh we were almost going to win the Chittagong test. So I expected better performance in test this year.

...‘উইনিং’ বোনাসের টাকা দিলেও দিতে পারে। এ ব্যাপারে কোন সিদ্ধান্ত এখন হয়নি।

Why ?? Dileo ditey parey maney....?? Is it optional winning bonus or declared earlier??
