Did you read his post ? I think you are failing to realize what kind of investor he is . To me he is leaning toward income generating value investor type. They are goal is not really to sell .

But you are wasting a lot of time instead of getting ur money working. I am just surprised ur regret hasn't kicked in yet despite being in market know how for few years now .

Recession would be a good time to add to ur position . Doesn't mean u wait for it while market takes off. It's not one time all case .... U can always buy in increments .

What is it that u are actually doing with ur money ? Property ? Business . Then it's ok. But if it's sitting in bank and u don't need it ... I am not you sure that is a good idea

Gotta agree to that, money sitting in bank is the best possible way to waste it, since the CD's here earn nothing while money sitting in bank at BD recent past could be a steal.

So, in US if you have that extra 5K do something with it.

I’m at a crucial stage in my career. The decision is not easy.
There are three options: Property, Business or stocks.

To be frank, I’m not sure which way to go.
At the moment, I’m inclining towards stocks, but waiting for the right timing to minimise the risk as much as possible.

Allah knows the best. And time will unfold what decision I make.

The decision is never easy.

Every stage is crucial in life, the only hindrance can be indecision. Good to have a backup plan like a prenup which can save you a lot of humiliation.

evan spiegal is really a smart guy. Unveiled some new user engagement strategies. SNAP all of a sudden looks cheap at current price. And not to mention with all new tech IPO - if they rally - so should rest.

Sometimes investing in ppl running the company is also a good idea.

Does anyone have an account with binance? I got locked out of my account and am finding it very difficult to get back in, even after providing photo id's and stuff. They give you these challenge questions which are difficult to answer if you haven't logged into your account in a while

Market is gloomy for last couple of months, the astonishing Dow recovery was just little minimization of -ve balance for serious investors. I have put a hold on investing until I see a firm upward trend in economy. But, all is not lost - if you are looking to invest invest in Defense stocks. They always do well in those conditions.

Dow is still close to all time high. Serious investors are not in the red.

While market may go south, your post once again begs the question - what world do you live in? Aint one world.

Coinbase isn't bad, coinbase pro is better. That's what I use for the most part when I trade. I just happen to have crypto sitting in my binance account which I haven't paid attention to in a while. I've been trying to find their customer service number not sure they have one that works

Wow. Awesome bro. That's the way to do it. Bowing down. That's how u create wealth.

I have sold apple shares that I bought with left over student loan money lol to pay for a course in 2006. Cost of that move is 100k as of today .

Recently sold snap after a 50% gain but it went on to close to 200 percent gain this year since purchase price.

I have dozens of example doing this. Though Apple was the biggest loss.

U would never can imagine a 5 k investment can turn to 100k plus but it happens and it happened while we discussed those stocks right in this site back in the days.

What's mf ? Mutual fund or money fund? Mutual fund is pretty aggressive I would say. I agree with you. 2020 does look gloomy. Historically however election year majority of time yields positive result.

Short answer is stick to your allocation and risk tolerance . I am early 30s so I been going 100 percent stock ...aggressive on any metrics . It luckily worked out well for me. My horizon is so long I will be able to come out of any market correction ...

But if you are on the older side I probably would trim from stocks. Again getting the right mix of allocation and sticking to it is the best way to play market. Basically do nothing once that allocation is set.

Reading about market all the time however and not investing and doing nothing however is a fools game .

If I stop any farther putting in any money ever in market from now on I would still come out ahead of majority ppl in my age group at retirement age simply because I started so early and bought aggressively.

U need money to make money and the only way to accumulate money is to save as much as possible and throw everything in the market in increments from early age. No need to wait for a recession .. no one knows when that will happen . Set ur allocation ..buy in increments . Lessen exposure to stocks as u age. Simple.

Do you think it is a bad time to buy aapl, fb, msft right now since they are at all time high or wait for a bit of price correction? I’ve just recently got my yearly bonus and wanted to invest that in for long term.
