Our ex fielding coach Ryan Cook is currently with NED, so will be good source of insider info for them...

Tom Cooper: We don't see Netherlands beating Bangladesh as an 'upset'

I don't know what drugs he was on that he needed to say this lol..we see BD beating Netherlands as an upset at the current moment

I think Bangladesh will win today. I have seen it time and time again, when expectation is so low as it is now, Bangladesh somehow manage a win out of nowhere. But I do agree, if BD wins today, it'll be an upset.

Predicted XI: Shanto, Soumya, Litton, Shakib, Afif, Yasir, Mosaddek, Sohan, Taskin, Hasan, Mustafiz

I would have preferred to see Shanto benched, Litton-Soumya to open, an extra bowler in Miraz or Ebadot (depending on whether we will see an used pitch or a fresh pitch for this match), and Shoriful in place of Musta. But none of those things are likely to happen.

"We wanted Litton to play up but he has stayed at 3 and contributed with the bat." - Jamie Siddons

Siddons makes it sound like it's Litton's choice to bat at one down! Is he saying some bs to support Sujon-Sriram or is Litton himself now shying away from opening?!

"I can't see anything that's going to scare the batters," says Dale Steyn. "Evenly paced pitch with not a lot of spin, but there could be a bit of swing."

"The bowlers are going to have to work hard, because the batters might have the upper hand," adds Ian Bishop. In terms of pitch dimensions, it's once more short boundaries square of the wicket, with them measuring 61 and 60 metres respectively.

Our team management has become so predictable, no out of box thinking at all...

Meanwhile, NED brought in 19 years old leggie Shariz Ahmad. Perhaps we should ask Ryan Campbell to leave NED to work for us?

It's time for Tamim to hand over his "Dot Baba" title to Shanto

More like SS lol

We may get rid of Tamim, but we will never be rid of a 'Dot Baba' opening

Openers did better than expected. It's time for Shak-LKD to anchor the innings.

All of our aerial shorts were barely clearing the inner circle, this was on the cards

You won't go anywhere with players like Riyad, Shan Masood etc. These players 30 off 30 are completely meaningless.

If they lose today it will be a shameful defeat. I honestly don't think anyone will watch BD Cricket anymore.

With 30 average and ~125 SR, Shan Masood is more than good enough to replace any of our current top three, including LKD. IMO, he did a wonderful job holding together Pak innings yesterday. The problem was they brought back an under fit Afridi in a crunch match, instead of holding onto Hasnain.

As for Riyad, Yasir just shown once again what a premature decision it was to axe Riyad to make place for him.
