following 5 should return:

enamul jr (razzaq)
mehrab jr (nayeem)
shahadat (rasel)
mahbubul robin (najmul)
mushfiq rahim(shamsur rahman shuvo)

what do u think?
mushy shouldn't be sent back after the tests, he's really the only option for a keeper batsman atm, sagir might be an ok keeper (don't even know if he is or not) but he's not good enough with the bat. the others i agree with being sent back, would have preferred shuvo over razzak though, otherwise i agree.

yeah not sure if they went with the team, i would think stand-by just means they'll be called up and flown over if there is an injury, i'd say they're in Bangladesh....

Yes, I saw in ittefaq report; 5 reserve players are also travelling with the team, but don't know if they are for ODI or reserve for the test team to cover injuries.

100 is just a number that statisticians (Rajesh like) has put as a milestone. Sometimes works as a motivational tool (Sachin). 95 is as good as 105 innings just 10 short. With the current squad we don't need to focus on 100s. We need time in the middle, patient innings. 100s will come eventually. 3/4 knocks of 70+ would take use 350+ in first innings. That is 4 session plus. Hunting as a pack, building partnership that is what is needed. Tamim, Junaid, Mehrab, Shakib, Mushi all has good knocks. People with lots of talent and no brains sometimes needs a reminder. In cricket, dropping from the squad has made wonders as such players (Ganguly). I want Riyad also in the team.

Well said, why its so hard to realize for Tamim and Ash, others seems at least has some degree of intention.

i think this series is a great chance for bangladesh to chalk up some victories against one of the weaker test nations

only problem is that Gayle and Chanderpaul stand in the way

it's not just about the number, it's about being able to play a long innings and scoring runs while doing so, ash is really the only player in the squad who has shown that capability multiple times in test cricket. not saying they can't do it but they haven't shown it so far and ashraful has, that would make it hard for the selectors to drop ashraful even if he hasn't been performing.

I believe WI has turned a corner and much more improved team. I would be happy enough if BD puts up a strong fight. I am talking Test, of course.

So far no news I'm afraid, the broadcasting team that usually do A team matches and regional matches are in St Lucia at the ODI.

I will see what I can do as far as score updates is concerned though.
