Top post buddy! Btw am I the only one who thinks this sort of pitch gives us no home advantage? Shouldnt we neutralize India's strength which is their batting by making a difficult batting track similar to that of the tri-series final against Sri Lanka?

Oh! I did not realize the spelling of genius was wrong. I meant the post was genius, I was not pointing out his spelling error.

So if you're angry, you begin to justify your anger by using objects of your anger, which are justifiably objects of anger. But the reason that you're attacking them is NOT because you're really indignant about those things. The reason you're attacking them is because you're angry as an individual, and you want to justify your anger, so you direct it at object of anger, and that's what they call sublimation. You sublimate your pathology and find some socially acceptable arena to display it ... and this is why you have to understand the postmodernist intricacies of SidVision!

Sure, things may SEEM to range from alarming to hopeless when our guys still can't bunt and run, and rotate the strike with ease despite all that GREAT coaching from a GREATER batting coach. Sure, things may seem exasperating when prolonged exposure to "team-rulesing" estrogen therapy SEEMS to sissify potential batsmen like Junaid, Nayeem and Riyad. Sure, not having Abir in the line-up and the step-motherly attitude towards him may SEEM self-defeating. Sure. things may SEEM unfair when individual success with the bat is always the coach's achievement but failure to bat as a cohesive unit is always the player's inability to learn from the great Aussie.

BUT that's all integral to a well thought-out winning strategy when winning really counts, whenever and wherever that may be. The idea is to make US, the allegedly reasonable and passionate fans believe in this carefully constructed, Matrix-like simulacrum or simulated reality of suckiness so that our opponents cannot but free themselves of all suspicion and believe that we suck. Only then our guys will show their true colors with the bat, and after delivering one nasty surprise after another, lift the Cup and keep lifting it even long after everyone involved with the current team is dead and buried.

That is what SidVision is all about and for something that valuable, being patient isn't that high a price to pay, is it now?

The ultimate purpose of SidVision is to FORCE an opponent into the fatal combination of overconfidence and a false sense of security. Why? You'll see why this Saturday or some Saturday at some point in time in our or our children's or their grandchildren's lifetime.

Haha...cool! Agreed it was a great post.

Btw, I think Sohel bhai intentionally misspelled 'genius' for a wordplay. =)

Regarding Sohel bhai's new avatar: with all due respect to Mohammad Ashraful, please take this joke with a grain of salt if he or anyone taking offense for him reads it:

How do you define Mohammad Ashraful:

a Genius who happens to be an idiot,
or an idiot who happens to be genius?

i am confused

Now we have South Africa, South Africa 2.0 (AKA England) and the former colonial masters of South Africa EXACTLY where we need them! Overflowing with self confidence and concerned about mob rule, they've already handed Sid's boys the ticket to the quarter finals, if not the semis AND the big kahuna.

They CAN have everything except the Cup, right? So don't forget to be patient little useless thirdworlders, OK?

SidVision: elegant and genius in its flair for the operatic ...

Went to the match with my little nephew, binged on 4 scoops of Movenpick ice-cream after the match, and after hearing about the wrong bus attack ( DOUBLE ), binging on 4 more scoops ATM.

I am not myself and won't be until SidVision comes to life.

Be hip guys. This is the perfect time to bring non-linear thinking help you rekindle your faith in SidVision. This is indeed a test of faith.
