I liked New York
Just watched Kambakkht Ishq, funny I thought Sly Stallone fight scene was over the Top but corny and cheezy works for me.

Watched a whole bunch of good/junk movies lately... brief summary:
Duplicity - for some reason, I just can't stand Julia Roberts anymore, but it was kind of an ok movie (I think 'cause Giamatti is in it)... especially if you like plot twists and "revelations" every 10 mins...
X-Men Wolverine Origins - action, action, action, really average plot, mediocre actors... but Kayla Silverfox was hella hot
One-Eyed Monster - this movie is weird... it's full of pr0n actors (Ron Jeremy being the big one), and has an utterly ridiculous plot (read the title again to get a hint) like any other pr0n movie... but it's not pr0n! You want to laugh, but it's just so bad... the best way to describe it is "non-pr0n0graphic pr0n homage to movies like The Thing / misc Stephen King stories"
Road Trip Beer Pong - one of those straight-to-video sequels, utter waste of time
Hush - this is a nice thriller that keeps you guessing till the very end... i'd recommend it if you are looking for pure suspense-driven entertainment
I Love You Man - a decent comedy... sometimes "crass" dialogue (think "Knocked Up"), but I thoroughly enjoyed this one... good for some decent LOL-ing
Killing Room - the whole thing with this movie is "what is this experiment supposed to determine?" ... and when you finally find out, you'll be really pissed off, because it makes little sense and you are left thinking you just wasted your time
Alien Trespass - one big homage to 50's B-grade sci-fi movies, complete with gorgeous 50's-look women and terrible special effects... I really enjoyed this one, and would highly recommend it to anyone into the 50's sci-fi scene...

I saw I love you man as well, It does seem to have something about it that puts it above movies like knocked up, critics seem to love it too
I also saw land of the lost, terrible movie and I also saw bruno. Toilet humour mostly, only good part was him starting up a child modeling agency so he could mock parents who push their kids only for their own agendas. A lady was willing to put her son/daughter on a diet to lose weight etc and the other good part was him going on a hunting trip with rednecks. Getting up in the middle of the night and going to one of their tents and saying "A bear ate all my clothes and all he left is this condom" Other than that not the greatest of movies

Adventureland - rather cool dark comedy about a bunch of losers working at a theme park... enjoyed it, but the main element of the plot (the lead actor's gf is in a secret relationship with the "cool" older guy everyone knows and respects) seemed familiar... can't put my finger on it
Gigantic - this movie is one of those wannabe-artsy quirky movies... I liked John Goodman's character, but the rest of them really annoyed me with the quirkiness... it's just overdone... I give it a "meh" rating
Beautiful - Aussie movie (surprisingly has the chick who briefly played Emma Frost in Wolverine), theme is kind of like Rear Window / Disturbia meets Desperate Housewives (based on my watching one episode of that show)... keeps you guessing till the end... but the ending is really ****ed up!
Ice Age 3 - it was ok... probably fun to watch with kids, but... just like Shrek... it got old the 3rd time around...
Bruno - well, it sure wasn't short of the outrageous... and it definitely highlighted how ignorant some people (especially in the US bible belt) are... but it was kind of really short... it was over before I knew it... anyway, Borat was better.
Dakota Skye - I was told this was good, but turned out to be an utter chick flick... and drags on despite being less than 90 mins long... I'd recommend avoiding it.

Ya. It was a good movie. The action especially. Though the idea of a 57 year old 007 was a little weird but the guy played the part very well.

How could they have made it into a better story, Bancan Bro?
I really was kinda lost in the beginning but picked it up nicely as the movie went along...

The Boat That Rocked - hilarious comedy about pirate radio stations that broadcast from boats around the UK in the mid 60's... the story is fictional, but has a lot of elements based in reality, and some of the best actors today are in it. Highly recommended.
The Last Resort - extreme crap D-grade "horror" movie about people being influenced by satan/some demon in an old abandoned messican resort... avoid like the plague, especially if you are messican (lots of xenophobia pumped into it).
The Last House on the Left - average remake I'd say... maybe worth watching, but the original is way more intense!
It would have been better if they didn't let the girl live, like in the original
.

Lol well the story was good if you compare it to movies in this genre. But other than that nothing special. Atleast in my opinion.

Just came back from watching "G.I mindless hollywood drivel of explosions minus substantial plot". No where near as smooth as X-Men. But smoking chicks like Rachel Nichols made it worthwhile. Only good part was the Paris scene. Rest were too cumbersome and far fetched. Why can't they keep it simple instead of spending trillion dollar on special effects and elaborate technological military base. Grrr!

Watched District 9. Great movie. Although, there are parts of the movie that needed a better explanation. However, it is still one of the best movies of this year. I would give it 4.5/5
