It was good to see international cricket in Sharjah which have given more than 200 ODI international.

The atmosphere was great with lots of crowds seeing the great players.

Bring A team matches and Twenty Twenty matches in Sharjah atleast to give people to see choice of matches.

I think some betting scandals has got to do something with cricket not being played in Sharjah anymore.....Not sure though...

Yes, because there are a lot of bookies present in that region- cricket is being diverted.
Also because the schedule of Intl Cricket is so packed that its difficult to have any meet in Sharjah.
Also i think the players from all countries, except for Zim/BD has complained about excessive cricket being played these days and they want to concentrate more on Test matches than ODIs. This actually works fine for me as i'm more of a Test fan than an ODI fan.

According to some the whole scene of Sarjah was carefully created by the bookies and made into a heaven of all sorts of seedy activity. If that is true than no cricket in Sarjah is a good thing. Cricket can do without these.

Sharjah had become the hotbed of betting and match fixing, especially in case of India Pakistan matches. After the match fixing was exposed, India stopped participating in Sharjah and with that Sharjah lost its primacy as a premier offshore cricket site.

Ah Sharjah cricket was the best. It was one of the high dimensions in 90s with lots of cricket and great stars.

It was wonderful to see India Vs Pakistan in anywhere in the world. At Sharjah it was the best.

In Sharjah, Pakistan used to win against India with bookies and underworld dons in attendance. In world cup, it has been a different story altogether, where Pakistan has never won against India.

so it's the indian players who are the "rishuat khors", and not the pakistanis after all. you may as well send your post to the FBI and they may smell some suicide bombing plots in it.

Well if cricket was clean in sharjah more cricket should be played. It is nice to hear ball kiss the bat sound in Sharjah ground.

Atleast I wish there was a Twenty Twenty cricket by A teams in Sharjah or a Twenty Twenty world cup for A teams in Sharjah.

There would be less bookies for A team matches and Twenty Twenty cricket.

Someone please bring cricket to Sharjah ground
