Thumbs up Chillax! It's all a genius part of an ingenious plan.

Some of you need to be briefed!

Negativism, and I'm saying this as a recovering negativist, is often nothing other than working out your own psychological problems in a cricket forum. So if you're angry, you begin to justify your anger by using objects of your anger, which are justifiably objects of anger. But the reason that you're attacking them is NOT because you're really indignant about those things. The reason you're attacking them is because you're angry as an individual, and you want to justify your anger, so you direct it at object of anger, and that's what they call sublimation. You sublimate your pathology and find some socially acceptable arena to display it ... and this is why you have to understand the postmodernist intricacies of SidVision!

Sure, things may SEEM to range from alarming to hopeless when our guys still can't bunt and run, and rotate the strike with ease despite all that GREAT coaching from a GREATER batting coach. Sure, things may seem exasperating when prolonged exposure to "team-rulesing" estrogen therapy SEEMS to sissify potential batsmen like Junaid, Nayeem and Riyad. Sure, not having Abir in the line-up and the step-motherly attitude towards him may SEEM self-defeating. Sure. things may SEEM unfair when individual success with the bat is always the coach's achievement but failure to bat as a cohesive unit is always the player's inability to learn from the great Aussie.

BUT that's all integral to a well thought-out winning strategy when winning really counts, whenever and wherever that may be. The idea is to make US, the allegedly reasonable and passionate fans believe in this carefully constructed, Matrix-like simulacrum or simulated reality of suckiness so that our opponents cannot but free themselves of all suspicion and believe that we suck. Only then our guys will show their true colors with the bat, and after delivering one nasty surprise after another, lift the Cup and keep lifting it even long after everyone involved with the current team is dead and buried.

That is what SidVision is all about and for something that valuable, being patient isn't that high a price to pay, is it now?

The ultimate purpose of SidVision is to FORCE an opponent into the fatal combination of overconfidence and a false sense of security. Why? You'll see why this Saturday or some Saturday at some point in time in our or our children's or their grandchildren's lifetime.

Looks like you took the bait from the poster. The OP wants us to be patient and hopeful for the rest of our limited lifetime, our children's lifetime and our grandchildren's lifetime.

You might not have to wait that long - and Sohel bhai knows it too!

Classic!

But a certain NZ will suck more and the West Indians will go on a strike. And you might have to change the first instance of the word 'GREATER' to 'GREATEST'. Otherwise, you will be burnt in the hell, cursed with attitudes of having no tomorrow!

Thanks Sohel for an excellent post.. I agree 100% and I dont understand why a coach like Siddons is being emotional and vindictive as it seems...when did Naeem become a better player than Nafees? why was he not part of the practice match? Couldnt he have sent Nafees to bat instead of sending Razzaque or even Rubel? What does the management want,, Nafees to walk out of the team?

I am very surprised by this linear not-out-of-the-box vision of Siddons..it didnt click today and it exposed our dirty laundry.. As if, all the other team has to do is get the wicket of Tamim, Shakib.. and the rest of the batsman is gonna just go for a respectable score of 200!!

My doctor said that I don't qualify for SidVision due to something called "being logical and being able to see through BS".

However, he did prescribe a healthy dose of Pontade and Fountainol to help with the anger.

As long as that restricts you to 'Pontificate the Fountain of hope'...
