The fact remains that Walsh sucks. But, Mash shouldn't have bowled himself at the death. It's an old story that he is not the best during the final overs.

^Yes. Nor should he have experimented so much. But those are all besides the point.

How come no one showed any fight with the bat against a spin bowling they ALREADY KNEW they had trouble facing and had time to prepare for???

TO be or not to be that is the question. Is Walsh done for us and are we getting an innovative effective pace bowling coach for World Cup? Walsh has proven himself to be one dimensional. If necessary, keep him for the HP and age-level.

I don’t think Walsh is good for teaching our bowlers at any levels. The way West Indians bowl with their God gifted physique, they can transfer only little of that experience.

Everytime BD wins the first official they show in the camera is Mr. Walsh. Is there some hidden magic which the cricketing world sees but the fans missing?

Walsh should look at the Zimbabwe pacers , our pace bowling has done nothing to take advantage of the early conditions.

What is the point of paying for a fast bowling coach if even Zimbabwe fast bowlers are doing better ?

Only things that Walsh looks at is his bank balance, the time when his shift ends and whats on his plate to eat.

This guy was a bad move from BCB as they thought that a great player like Walsh could groom our players. They should have taken with someone extensive coaching experience and one who has coached bowlers with BD's players's physique

I am surprised this lamp post is till in the team

No use at all. He is having the dream job we all dream of. Getting paid, staying in 5 star hotels, going on tours, last time he went back home to WI and enjoyed the sun and beaches staying in 5 star hotels, and many more tours to come. All that for doing absolute jack to improve BD pacers. Whereas Heath Streak took less money and did more work, and had plans for each bowlers.

He doesn't have a job now right?

If free, then yes
He might go do IPL coaching, and maybe he's a coach in Mzani Super league that starts in 2 days.

Last few matches we are seeing one-dimensional pace bowling from our test pacers.

What new tactics we may expect from our legendary bowling coach?

But he is not a legendary bowling coach. He's garbage as far as I'm concerned.

But, he's a legendary bowler.

That's the difference.

In all honesty, the boys batted like Walsh did. Except Hetmyer

A country with conditions known to favor fast bowlers yet we cannot take a single wicket in the whole session with the new ball.

It might be better to give his wages to charity , we might have better luck with injuries from up above

LOL blame everybody but the bowlers.

Walsh can only instruct HOW to take a wicket in these conditions.

The bowler still has to be able to do the job.

Even the bowlers in 2000 era put in more than this, then the question needs to be asked did we have as good a pacers back then or now they are just coached badly because all these bowlers showed good potential below international level but seem to look clueless when they come to national team. Are we maximizing the potential of these bowlers?

Soummya denied Ebadat his maiden wicket in his very first over. Same thing we saw with Mishfiqur while keeping. Test is very much a game of mindfulness. One slip up can cost you big and that what just happened.

Worst coach was the Pakistani who helped us lose against Canada. Walsh is a close second
