Miraz, about StanChat league- yes Kalindi High had beaten BKSP in the Dhaka phase, but BKSP took their revenge in the national final.

Could not fix the extra spaces between NCL 2006-07 highlights (both batting and bowling).
Moderators/Administrators intervention required.

we still need a little bit of edge in the league, perhaps if every teams can import altleast one pacer like Chaminda Vaas, then our batsmen could be better prepared for the international tests.

Miraz, probably it is also worth to mention that BCB, on regular basis, is sending promising youngsters to overseas HP units such as MRF (Zahid Hasan, Waskurni, Ziaur Rahman, Sajidul Islam), Commonwealth Bank Academy (2005- Shafaq, Shahin Hossain; 2006- Sadat, Sakib), and Northern Territory Academy of Sports (in Darwin, where they also get to play in Darwin league. 2005- Mehrab, Rasel; 2006- Ishraq Sonet, Sirajullah Khadim).

I endorse this idea.
Zunaid bhai, I have already sent you the article for your review and subsequent publication.
Now, Is it possible to hide the stats (the continuous ones) witrhin the article and use some command like 'Click here to see stats' to make them appear (if anyone is interested to go in depth) ?

Thewatcher, in that case you need to give too many cricket archive links for every years NCL stats, that will not look pretty. A hide/appear button for stats will be better.
And, the stats are filtered from cricketarchive, if you give the link you will end up with unfiltered stats.

Posting the stat of the Dhaka Premier League here again as I want to make this thread a reservoir for domestic stats.

Rabiul Karim 10 10 1 417 2 1 46.3
Tamim Iqbal 7 7 0 408 1 2 58.3
N Faruque 9 9 2 401 4 57.3
Imran Ahmed 10 10 394 3 39.4
Al Shahariar 10 10 388 5 38.8

It's good to see that Tamim Iqbal has been picked based on his premier league scores. He's got the highest average...but with 7 innings? I wouldn't give much credit to that. This also shows why Rajin Saleh deserved a shot...coz he's the top scorer in this league. And he's got the added experience, which Tamim doesn't have. This has just proved how insane our selectors are...simply horrible.

Writing a review on the first phase of DPL. Before posting that, hers's the stats to make this thread further rich
As promised, here's the final stats after completion of the league phase of the Kai Altech Premier League 2007
Code:
Batsman Match Inn N.O. Runs 100 50 Avg
Al Shahariar 11 11 472 6 42.9
Rajin Saleh 11 11 2 453 2 2 50.3
Rabiul Karim 11 11 1 434 2 1 43.4
Tamim Iqbal 7 7 0 408 1 2 58.3
Imran Ahmed 11 11 407 3 37
N Faruque 10 10 2 402 4 50.3
Imrul Kayes 10 10 401 3 40.1
Junaid Siddique 10 10 390 1 2 39
Jahur Elahi 11 11 1 362 2 36.2
Fahadullah 8 8 1 360 2 1 51.4
Nazimuddin 11 11 2 357 3 39.7
Sharifullah 11 10 351 4 35.1
Rashid Hanif 11 11 1 349 1 34.9
Javed Omar 11 11 333 1 1 30.3
Shahbaz Butt 9 9 1 323 1 2 40.4
Just after one round (look ate the stats posted after 10th round, foreign player further slided in the list. I am fully convinced that Al Shahriar has done enough to get a national recall and especially in the WC squad when we are struggling to find a suitable opening partner of SN.
Now, leading wicket takers, incomplete stats (no bowling average) due to non co-operation from TigerCricket (stopped uploading domestic scorecards)
Code:
Bowler Wkts
Rezaul Haque 29
Suhrawadi Shuvo 24
Jaffar Qureshi 23
Mohammad Shahzada 21
Sharifullah 20
Tariqul Islam 20
Monjurul Islam (Monju) 19
Lal Mohon 17
Farhad Reza 16
Mahbubul Alam (Robin) 16
Suhrawardi Shuvo is impressive along with Shahzada and Rezaul Haque. Farhad Reza is missing the limelight and probably sit out.
