No for some reason every one loves him...

I personally don't like him. because of his defensive calls we lost at least 2 games.

We lost 4/5 games by 3 points
We lost two games when we are up in the half time
we lost two games by the same play back to back(Pistburg and denver)
We lost 4 back to back game in KC (last time that happen i wasn't born then)

But people r not that angry on him yet....

We didn't play you guys this year. Maybe, some other team.

I was never a big fan of his coaching job when he was with the Jets..

Take two francise player (offensive) out of the line up and see how other teams stack up. Be it manning-harrison, Brady-Moss. Heck take out the best guy and see how others do. Ben, Romo, LT, Alexander. Kansas City is doing fine. I like Herm.

Pats stay perfect after an amazing finish...Best game all season!
12-0. Steelers up next...I have a feeling its gonna be closer than people think. Pats starting to look fragile. Then again, so are the Steelers...

A week ago, I would have said the same thing. But now with that loss to the Jets and the near loss to Miami, the two weakest teams in the NFL, Im a lot less certain. In any case, Im behind the Pats all the way.

Eagles and Ravens aren't exactly world beaters. But, I agree, Steelers hasn't been playing that well recently ( offense in particular ) but the defense has remained steadfast despite not having Polamalu for a few games. Steelers offense suffered due to the unavailability of Santonio Holmes who will be back this week. Troy should be back too.

You can't make any judgement from that Miami game. That field was unfit to even plant your feet.

Your Pats have a problem in the defense. Maybe not this week, but it will catch up with you in playoffs. LBs are old, and a bit soft. You can run on them for sure. Also, I am not sure how prudent it is to not have a running game for Decemeber-January.

We will see come Sunday. We will give you a run for the money. Get ready for some PHYSICAL battle, win or lose...

Sadi,
How would you like D Mac in next years draft for the Jets. Miami already has a QB and Ronnie Brown (running back), New England (TB and Marooney), Jets (no body). The #1 and #2 would be McFadden (Ark) and Brohm (Louisville). May be Jets will move up and get one of those two. Next is Atlanta (Bobby Petreno Louisville ex-coach) would not let Brohm pass.

By the numbers he is bigger and faster than Adrian Peterson and loves to hit people. Now that is scary isn't it?

I would love to have him since it will bring so much excitement to a dull Jets game but seeing how Mangini usually drafts, I doubt thats gonna happen. They gave Thomas Jones a 4 year contract for $20 Mil and I don't think they would want to pay D Mac that much to have a two RB attack. My guess is they are probably going to go for a DT or DE. The scary thought is if NE picks D Mac since they have the pick from SF, they will start dropping 50 on every team.

hmm!! I thought they would move down and get another #1 pick in 2009 or 10.

Anyways, the thing about D Mac that no one mentions is his blocking and catching skills. Any safety blitzing would blitz after a hit. Even after few hits the linebackers tends to shy away from him or tries to tackle him side ways. That is in SEC. I know NFL is different. But not by that much. Back to back SEC running title (1647 yards last year and 1725 and counting - bowl game left)

I love this.

Stealers garantees a win against NE.

"People keep asking me if we're ready for the Patriots," Smith said. "They should be asking if they're ready for us."

Is Smith so confident that he is willing to copy one of former Pittsburgh linebacker Joey Porter's familiar motivational ploys by guaranteeing the Steelers will win? "We're going to win," Smith said. "Yeah, I can guarantee a win. As long as we come out and do what we got to do. Both sides of the ball are rolling, and if our special teams come through for us, we've got a good chance to win."

I wouldn't motivate Patriots more since they are already motivated and strong enough to go over any teams including the Steelers.

That Anthony Smith is a nutcase. He always gets personal foul, unsportsman like penalty flags. He is a second year player but plays hard and tough. Tomlin was very unhappy and LeBeau yesterday called him a 'dumb' player. He will shut up for a while. He just wants some attention and may have cost his team in the process. Pats don't need any motivation and he gave it to them..

Motivated or not, old bones take the toll. You know it, I know it, the Pats know it. Pats going down. His comments would not hurt anything as long as there is no penalty on the ground.
