Default Sixes in Bangladesh test cricket

I am trying to kill off a terribly boring Thanksgiving day by doing crazy things like this
In all 37 were hit by Bangladeshis and 83 were hit against them.

Six hitters for Bangladesh in test cricket :

7 Mohammad Rafique
6 Mashrafe Mortaza
4 Mohammad Sharif
4 Al Sahariar
3 Khalid Mahmud
3 Hasibul Hossain
3 Alok Kapali
3 Akram Khan
2 Habibul Bashar
1 Fahim Muntasir
1 Enamul Haque Sr

Bowlers who conceded these sixes :

7 D Kaneria
4 GW Flower
3 SB Joshi, RW Price
2 SCG Macgill, GJ Batty, DL Vettori, CD Macmillan, AF Giles
1 VC Drakes, SE Bond, RL Johnson, PT Collins, PR Adams, MJ Saggers, M Muralitharan, M Kartik, CS Martin, BT Watambwa

Those who have hit 3 or more sixes against Bangladesh :

11 ST Jayasuriya
7 Abdur Razzaq
6 ME Trescothick
5 Inzamam ul Haq
4 CL Cairns
4 CB Wishart
3 Yousuf Youhana
3 HH Gibbs

Bangla bowlers to concede the sixes :

15 Enamul Haque
9 Mohammad Rafique
8 Naimur Rahman, Manjural Islam
6 Sanwar Hossain
5 Mohammad Sharif, Fahim Muntasir, Alok Kapali
4 Mashrafe Mortaza, Hasibul Hossain, Enamul Haque Jr
2 Rajin Saleh, Mohammad Ashraful, Habibul Bashar
1 Tapash Baisya, Talha Jubair, Javed Omar, Aminul Islam

Mohammad Sharif at Dhaka in the last series was the first and only instance of someone hitting three sixes in an innings.

Against Bangladesh, Jayasuriya hit 6 sixes in his 145 at Colombo in 2002. Razzaq and Jayasuriya himself have hit 4 each.

The first two scoring shots of Rafique's career were a four and a six.

A detailed list is posted in 'Support'

Nice and fine piece of work. Wondering why your stats are not in the stat page yet. I'll move your details from support to Bangladesh cricket forum.

If a player hit sixes in both innings, the figure in bracket indicates the one in which a particular one was hit.

And I assume the source is Howstat?
If so, any way to add a filter and find out how the batting postion the player is in has any relevance to the number of sixes that a batsman can get. I am alluding to Rafique and whether he is best suited lower down or up the order.

No. Did the thing manually by looking up each match in cricinfo.

For the first few had to look through the ball-by-ball scores, before discovering that the player-vs-player link given at the bottom of each scorecard provides an easier lookup.

So the answer to the other question is, as far as I know, there is no way other than checking the player-v-player for each match.

Is there somebody who will look up into a similar stats - but for ODIs - in case of Bangladesh?

Rafique is the leading 6 hitter for Bangladesh with 7 sixes, and Mashrafee is only 1 behind him, but those are for test cricket only, and I think that Rafique is incapable of hitting sixes off pacers / seamers unless they are really poor balls.

But what about the ODIs?

From the same site (above) I saw the most six hitters in ODIs link, a player has to hit 41 sixes (or more) in an ODI career to see his name in this list.
