Game resumes after lunch. New batsman David Boon walks in with Boycott and takes guard. Ambrose with the ball.

Quote:
6.2 Ambrose to Boon, 3 slips, gully, 3rd man, point, cover, full and away swing, Boon watches and lets it go. Pilot is having difficulties to collect the ball cleanly. The pace and lift bothering him.

Ambrose to Boon, OUT, superb delivery hits top of off, good length, pitches around middle, Boon looks to defend from the crease, the ball seams away past the outside edge to hit the stumps .... ok, Wait a minute ..... drama drama .... looks like umpire called a No-Ball here .... it's a overstepping no-ball although the TV replays does not have a conclusive footage ..... Ambrose is not at all impressed .... lucky Boon!
Mystery XI 55/5 after 6.2

(btw, TE bhai your post made me watch this 15 min video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4Jl7fzdG5w .... time well wasted )

Hadlee to face the music:
6.4 Ambrose to Hadlee, four, short and honing in; tries to duck, kisses the helmet and flies over Pilot's leap.
Mystery XI 59/5 after 6.4
Salaam Pasha, I distinctly can recall that series. Thanks for the reminder. I use to be a cricket stat fanatic back then. Daily Observer would be the best source.

After a period of 940 days, the organizers and match officials have decided to resume the Timeless Match. They've shifted the venue to New Zealand. Mclean Park. Umpires Kumar Dharmasena and Chris Gaffeney walk out to the middle, followed by the players...here we go, cricket once again.....:

Quote:
6.5 Ambrose to Hadlee, no run , good delivery! Ambrose pitches this one outside off stump, Hadlee plays at it and misses the ball, there was some late movement away from the bat, collected comfortably by Mashud who nonchalantly tosses it to Faf du Plessis at first slip. Faf is giving the ball some good tongue action.
Mystery XI 59/5 after 6.5 overs
Currently there are three batsmen at the crease, Boycott, Boon, and Hadlee.
