so if anamul is involved and gets punished then that obviously means we need to find a new ODI opener and potentially test opener and also a test #3 (since that's where ash was before this and also since anamul was possibly next in line for that spot).

Good question. Dhaka was also the team with the most ca$h. I wonder if the incentive to spend so much - both above board and under the table - was to launder ill begotten money. The trophies were a happy side-effect.

so what if Enam Vijay is dropped vs Notts ? they have been shuffling these batsmen so that everyone gets the opportunity, nothing out of routine,

Darren Stevens seems to be the one that is charged with failing to report. Wonder who the other one is.

Won't really miss any of them. Actually, probably wouldn't ever miss anyone other than Nasir, Tamim, Shakib and Mushfiq. Maybe Gazi.

It would have been bad if any of the promising youngsters were implicated. Anamul, for example, could be another stalwart in making.

this is what Robin did in the 2013 BPL

Quote:
In his first match against Chittagong Kings, he gave away 26 in two overs, which included a nine-ball second over. In his next match, against Khulna Royal Bengals, Mahbubul conceded 21 in his only over, while in the third, against Barisal Burners, he didn't bowl and only scored 6.
this is what he said about his performance in BPL 2013 when questioned about the fixing(oh god just kill me)

Quote:
I have met the ACSU twice in Dhaka as part of their investigation. But the matches they have mentioned, the scorecard says I have done well. How can I do well and be involved in such a thing? Someone must have made me a scapegoat."
http://www.espncricinfo.com/banglade...ry/662555.html

Now for the sake of the argument lets just pretend he is innocent shall we? now he thinks that 26 of 2 overs, 21 of one over and 6 runs is good performance(!), when players think like that what do you expect from them?, its not Mahbubul alam robin only, Many Players(plz put any name from the A team here) Believe that if they can put bat to ball or even bowl a ball which reaches the batsman, they have done well. When you have such mediocrity in thinking of the players how can you expect that your team is going to improve in the long run

the above comment regarding doing well is mosharaf rubel's not of robin

"I have been given the charge letter," Mosharraf told ESPNcricinfo on Thursday. "I have met the ACSU twice in Dhaka as part of their investigation. But the matches they have mentioned, the scorecard says I have done well. How can I do well and be involved in such a thing? Someone must have made me a scapegoat."
