সাকিবের জন্য অনুরোধ



বিসিবির সভাপতি নাজমুল হাসানের কাছে সাকিব আল হাসানের শাস্তি প্রত্যাহারের অনুরোধ করেছে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট দল। নাম প্রকাশে অনিচ্ছুক বিসিবির একজন কর্মকর্তা জানিয়েছেন, কাল শ্রীলঙ্কার বিপক্ষে শেষ ওয়ানডের পর দলের পক্ষে বোর্ড সভাপতির কাছে এ অনুরোধ করেন অধিনায়ক মুশফিকুর রহিম, মাশরাফি বিন মুর্তজা ও কোচ শেন জার্গেনসেন।

দ্বিতীয় ওয়ানডে চলাকালীন টেলিভিশন ক্যামেরার সামনে অশ্লীল অঙ্গভঙ্গি করায় তিন ম্যাচের জন্য সাকিবকে বহিষ্কার করে বিসিবি, সঙ্গে জরিমানাও করা হয় তিন লাখ টাকা। শাস্তি অনুযায়ী শ্রীলঙ্কার বিপক্ষে কালকের ম্যাচটি খেলেননি সাকিব। খেলার কথা নয় ভারত ও আফগানিস্তানের বিপক্ষে এশিয়া কাপের প্রথম দুই ম্যাচও। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ দলের খেলোয়াড়েরা মনে করেন, এশিয়া কাপের শুরু থেকেই সাকিবকে দলে প্রয়োজন। সে জন্য সাকিবের কৃতকর্মের জন্য দলের পক্ষ থেকে সভাপতির কাছে ক্ষমা চাওয়া হয়েছে। ওই বোর্ড কর্মকর্তা জানিয়েছেন, সভাপতি নাকি মুশফিকদের বলেছেন সাকিবের শাস্তি প্রত্যাহার চেয়ে বোর্ডকে চিঠি দিতে। বোর্ড তখন বিষয়টি বিবেচনা করবে।

Kudos too Shaqib!! I feel like atahar and shamim deserve more then just gesture. These two are razakar always saying bad things about our players. Our commentator should praise our country. Instead they say bad things about everybody. These idiots should be fired!

WTH are talking about???? Atahar is the one sitting there defending our team and our players and sometimes he even goes overboard with it...

Because of BCB's over reaction,, BD will lose to Afghanistan and it will be a disaster to Bangladesh cricket.. mark my word . without sakib and tamim,, I don't see any hope. It really doesn't matter to BCB

He deserves it. Why even we should care about Shakib this much. Without him we managed to beat NZ, WI, Lanka. Hope BCB sticks to its decision.

He deserves some sort of punishment, but the severity of the ban is in question. What determines 3 game ban? Is it written in stone somewhere in the ICC or BCB code of conduct book?
