থানার ডিউটি অফিসার মারুফুল ইসলাম জানান, বিকেল চারটায় নাজনীন থানায় আসেন। তিনি নিজে বাদি হয়ে রুবেল হোসেনের বিরুদ্ধে মামলাটি করেন। মামলায় অভিযোগ করা হয়, রুবেল তাকে বিয়ে করার প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে একাধিকবার ধর্ষণ করেছেন। তবে মামলায় রুবেলের ঠিকানা উল্লেখ করেননি নাজনীন। তিনি ঠিকানার স্থলে মিরপুর কমার্স কলেজের সামনে, দেখলে চিনবো বলে উল্লেখ করেছেন। নাজনীন আক্তার হ্যাপী মিরপুরের রূপনগর আবাসিক এলাকার ১৬ নম্বর সড়কের ২৬ নম্বর বাসায় বসবাস করেন।

থানার সেকেন্ড অফিসার জানান, বাদিনীকে ভিকটিম সাপোর্ট সেন্টারে পাঠানো হয়েছে। রবিবার তাকে মেডিক্যালে পাঠিয়ে ধর্ষনের চেকআপ করা হবে। এরপর আইন অনুযায়ী আসামির বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হবে।
