Oh there are just too many and it is difficult to pick one or two.

If you are not vegetarian, you could try the Sinhalese chicken curry or the fish ambul thiyal, pictures of which I have already posted.

If you are vegetarian you could try the Sri Lankan "kalu-pol" pumpkin curry or the tender jack fruit (polos) curry.

They look like South Indian dishes and I guess taste similar too, I can tell by the use of curry leaves and the overall look and feel, they look awesome btw, I would definitely like to try the last one that resembles Dosa/pancakes.

did you have spinach chicken in kolkata? We had a restaurant here in Dhaka named Oh! Kolkata. I went their oneday for dinner and had a dish called spinach chicken cooked with 5 misali dal and I still cant forget the taste.

Yep, it is also called Saag wala chicken, but don't like this one bit, for me fish and meat should be stand alone dishes, too many stuff just ruins it for me, hell I don't even like potato or eggs in my biryani, I would choose palak Paneer any day over Palak Chicken.

They taste different from South Indian dishes mainly due to the use of coconut milk.

By the way, South Indian food is very commonplace and popular in Sri Lanka.

By South Indian I mean Malabari (Kerala) and Coastal Tamil cuisine, they use coconut milk too. South India is very diverse when it comes to food habits, culinary traditions, I should have cleared it in my last post.

Well Sinhalese people are the descendants of the bengali prince Vijaya (Anamul's namesake) ..it's very much possible that we have similar dishes that go back thousands of years!
