Default Does CricInfo have ties with City Club?

Interesting, I am sure some of the BC members have noticed also, all the Bangladesh Premier Division Cricket League scorecards are for only City Club games.
Premier Division Cricket League. 2005-06

Why is it? Is it because of Taibu (The only foreign Test cricketer playing for that club)?

Or is it because City Club provides the match data to Cricinfo so that the Club's fan can access?

Can anyone shed some light on it please?

Anyways, I wish we could have all the scores. thanks CricInfo for what it has. Something is better than nothing.

Very good observation. There must be a reason for this which we do not know yet.I would rather hear from Martin Williams if possible about this before drawing any conclusion.

Excellent observation CE. I think it is the Taibu factor. Taibu has earnt a lot of attention with his move to Dhaka to play in the premier league. I won't be surprised if CI's interest in CC is only a product of their interest in Taibu

I think it's Taibu also. How Taibu does is very important for the essential Zimbabwe bashers. After all they are running a full-scale propaganda sceme against Zimbabwe.

It must be disappointing to see Taibu flop so badly.

Seen Martin's post on other threads. Martin, would you give us an idea how and when you get scores from our domestic leagues?

Apologies for the delay but I have been tied up of late.

We do carry scorecards from all domestic matches as soon as we can get verified version of them. We rely on local resources to provide these - they source and validate the cards and then fax them to us. We then enter them into the database. We have done this for a number of seasons, so there is no question of carrying selected scorecards.

If some are missing which should be there, please let me know,.

The Dec 30th match between City Club and Orient Sporting Club. Shahriar Nafees scored 150+ in that match. Also, Taibu, Rajin Saleh and Tamim Iqbal had half centuries.

I have seen match reports for that game but couldn't find any scorecard anywhere. If you can find that scorecard that will be great.

Thanks. I have sent this list to the guy who co-ordinates our scorecards and asked him to investigate and report back.
