My star spinner M. Williams got a hattrick & 5 wicket against a very strong team in my SOD league today. This hattrick make the match very easy for my team

End of over 40 (4 runs) - Benlandia(198-8). 74 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.95 RRR 7.40
A. Weser 0 (2b) , A. Johnston 13 (12b) , M. Williams 10-0-41-5
39.6.Williams to Weser : Sharma at gully dives gracefully and stops a certain boundary there.
39.5.Williams to Weser : Wonderfull bowling from Williams. Dot ball.

A hattrick for Williams!

That is 5 wickets for Williams!
39.4WWilliams to Jordan : There's a noise as that goes through to Akers and Williams turns and appeals. Glove? Bat? Jordan's arthritic wrists playing up? Doesn't matter, umpire says it's out.
B. Jordan c D. Akers b. M. Williams 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
39.3WWilliams to Wright : [catch] A good length delivery in the channel bowled from around the stumps. This one holds its line after hitting the deck and Wright is sucked forward into the defensive prod. The ball clips the shoulder of the bat and flies towards the slip cordon.
C. Wright c R. Sharma b. M. Williams 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
39.2WWilliams to Vijayashree : Good length delivery, Vijayashree is clueless as he shoulders arms and the ball crashes into the off stump - as easy as it gets.
K. Vijayashree b. M. Williams 13 (18b 1x4 0x6) SR:72.22
39.14Williams to Vijayashree : [misfield] Decent shot by Vijayashree, but made to look fantastic by some poor fielding on the boundary by Addison who has given away a four! Williams looks annoyed and so he should. 2 runs given away there.

After last week win against Eleaphant Fresh, this is another big match win by my team Put my FM all-rounder on rest so match rating is little low. Won by 69 runs I think my opponent has 3-4 overall expert players. Yesterday Williams got 6 wickets against rifat and today 5 wickets

Thank you Parvez bhai, Tonoy bhai!

Right, Parvez bhai, Sylheties rating is surprisingly low! What's going on...hmmmm! It was a very important match for us Mentals and we are very happy and relieved to have won it! Alhamdulillah!

if yes, what would you like me to train him on??
He currently wouldn't make it but prodigy does speed up and increases his chances.
I don't think he'll get there though with 16yos who are/can be similar.
He won't get in as an all-rounder I don't think, Amir is already much better, his best chance is as a bowler.

He would be a fringe player in the squad at this stage. His secondaries aren't as good as most others. We have some good young batsmen who are capable with reasonable/average technique gaining experience.

I will be posting a proposed 16/17yo squad on the forums this weekend to give managers a gauge to where I see it currently. Of course it may/will change with 2 seasons out still.

Pity the U19s couldn't get up and snatch a second victory for the tour against a strong England team, they outrated us by over 10k.

WarWolf, they both have a chance at making the U19 squad, don't think they will be apart of the first XI.

To give them every chance, it is better to go just batting. To be a batting all-rounder at U19 level I would think he needs to be capable+ batting and at least capable bowling. Most of the 16-17yos now have much lower technique so keep that up and they'll be thereabouts.

Good to see they're playing matches, Akib's 17yo has already got the experience higher than any other at the moment.

I am trying to give them exposure as much as possible. Specially against bots in SOD.

With the NAT/U19 rankings, they are solely based on performances and results that are related to the strength of the opposition, unlike club rankings.

I'm happy where the U19s are, just need to get above Bermuda and it's about right. We should gain a bit with the 1-2 loss the England who have the higher points.
For Bangladesh to pass Scotland we need to win a match against England next week which will be tough but achievable.

There is only really around a 20k rating spread across all U19 teams whereas for the NATs it can be up 40k so much tougher.

Can't wait to see the U19 Player guage. I think I got maybe 2 players that could make it. Both Allrounders.

And Thanks Turbz for all the hard work. 1 win against England ain't that bad.

note: BTW Turbz, when you look at Amirs stats, his bowling doesn't stand out (0.5 wickets per game), but thats cause he doesn't bowl to much. I usually just play him as a batsman in senior squad, since its easier on my team.

How much time would it take for us to enter top 5 in both level? In U19, it shouldn't be more than 1 year. But for Senior team it should take at least another 2 years.
