What are the requirements for getting banned people unbanned? Any sort of fees to be paid or something? Just curious.

Yes, payment to me. I will guarantee that the individual for whom the money is paid will get highest preference for a review. I cannot guarantee file will pass or fail, but I will guarantee that for the right sum, I will put the file on top of the pile.

Jokes aside, BC does have a minimal fee to undo bans. Just as Pakistani cricketers get fined for unruly behavior.

makes me wonder how you are any better than him when you seem to scorn at anybody/their religious views as opposed to showing restraint whenever there seems to be any disagreement with your (ooooh) views! This is the kind of attitude that creates division among muslims and ridiculous efforts to interpret Quranic verses your own way and making dubious claims that they are in line with scientific discoveries that make muslims look like morons in front of the whole world
P.S. Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance and detestation can only beget detestation

One world bhai said Rifat not Shardul bhai. Just because they talk along the same line doesn't make them both same. I happen to like both of them. I met Rifat in real life and he is awesome. They have their own views which may be different than mine and yours, but that doesn't mean your or I have to hate them.

I am with you on this !!!!!
We are all hyprocites to some extent but they take hypocrisy to a different level. I base this solely on the posts by shardul in the past, I have not seen anything similar from rifat though. He appears religious and there is nothing wrong in that but rifat does not come off as hypocritical like shardul based on his posts.

@layperson
since you guys seem to prefer a new theme for this thread, why single him out and why not list out all the other ppl you hate?

Well i did not mean to single him out but I can see how someone can interpret it that way. I dont hate anyone here. Thats too strong a word. I dislike some online persona... shardul's being one, arnab( for being obnoxiously arrogant and misusing his power), golden asif( for finding every single post as anti sylheti), ... these are the only ones that come to mind now .... i dnt want to discuss shardul as it is not fair to say sth about him now when he is banned and he cannot reply back.

If you show me evidence of these claims, then I would be surprised, I never scorn at anybody because of their religious views.

How could you make such a baseless attack, when 1/ you have nnot read my post in its entirety and engaged intellectually in that area.

What are these for example? Are they fundamentally so wrong that they make you detest a person so vehemently?
Btw, guys like BD_Shardul are sorely missed by many people here at BC.

Nafi: It's okay to not miss someone, or not like someone. But your post really baffled me. What is it that he said due to which you're so bitter with his online presence? Perhaps it's you who's ultra-anti conservative religious views? Perhaps it's you who has some problem?
Shardul's a nice guy. Yes, he does have a problem, and I told him that as well. He's too defensive, and feels that the whole world is against him. But end of the day, he has the right to speak whatever he wishes to...as long as it's not a personal attack.
Anyway, haate mic paisi dekhe ektu gola ta jhere nilam r ki - don't mind.

I am here, but not as frequent as the last summers....
@ Nafi bro: Most of my "religious" posts...you will find mostly qur'anic verses...I am sorry if that is too much for you
and most of the time, I cite the arabic with translation!
I have had many interesting discussions with brother Shardul....you will be surprised how many times we AGREE TO DISAGREE...but we still remain great friends on the basis that
1. WE both are servants of Allah and simply trying our best to please him.
2. We are brothers in Islam.
Salaam, Rifat

This is the kind of line that keeps me away to post at BC.
