It's during the middle years we will get a fair amount of cricket... I mean, 7 ODI's in one series?

All test playing nations will play, and it will be like a tournament, so the better you do, the more you play.

As the test is in February, it does not count towards the tally of tests in the FTP 2012-2020.

no way...only top 4 teams will play in that tournament.

a lot of series we have are just ODI series and no tests. pathetic. BCB needs to make half of our test series to 3 tests. don't really care for more ODIs, but the more the merrier. but we must play more tests. no excuses.

good thing is, we will be peaking a few years time, and the FTP can always be altered (last NZ series altered last minute).

I hope that teams like NZ and West Indies will play more against us.

Also remember Indian calender is filled with Aus, Eng tests but there are few open spots for Pak tours (5 tours of which only one is mentioned in the FTP). 10 yrs of Ind-Pak peace is impossible Last time we had so many tests with SL because of this. If BD can defeat NZ and WI, I think Ind will invite them for a couple of series Hopefully BD will play some good cricket the next two three years

The FTP doesn't always go to plan. Say Ireland get their test status approved, they have to start twisting and changing. If BD get a few good performances under their belts (not personal, but team wise, test wins and what not) then India will feel they are obliged.

Thats a sad schedule. Looks like we have to wait two three months between watching our guys play. I hope we can fill those gaps by playing against Ireland, Netherlands on their conditions.

With two test nations doing badly and a third one getting horrible I doubt we are going to see another test nation anytime soon.

Nop they will fill those gaps with domestic crickets. Remember domestic cricket mostly happens when our so called 'super ishtars' are free.
