Default The Official Khaled Ahmed Thread

Tall bowler with some pace...hit 141 kph in the second innings.

Unlucky as he could have had 3 wickets already. Likes to bowl the bumper.

Decent prospect...could be handy in NZ in a few months.

Hitting high 130s or even low 140s without consistency is any batting lineups feast. He will have to either ramp his speed upto another 7-8kms or cut down on the 80% of those all over the place deliveries

Not impressed so far. Bowls some absolute rubbish every 4-5 balls and isn't particularly effective with the new ball.

Hopefully just first game jitters and a flat deck.

His bowling econ rate is still pretty good. He's outbowled the Fizz and in terms of creating chances I think he's matched what Jarvis has done. Granted Jarvis has bowled a few more jaffas than either Khaled or Fizz.

I don't think you can consider it 3 wickets if 2 of those were the same batsman in the same innings.

He bowled too many short balls and you could see why, he can generate bounce. He will be good in New Zealand but Abu Jayed should return for West Indies series.

He is alright. Needs alot more work which includes fitness as he seems to wear out quickly after a few overs.

Long legs, short torso, very herky-jerky action. I think it would be better to have a smoother action to develop better consistency. I like his delivery that comes back quickly to the right hander, but that's about it. I need to see what his other stock deliveries are.

With his pace and bounce, good prospect for seaming condition of England

but I believe we have better more experienced options who performed well in NCL

Good propest but with his height you would expect him to bowl around 135-140 region. Hope he can add that extra pace to his bowling

Extremely rarely. Abu Jayed swings it a lot more than him.

Then he is not a good prospect.

Bowled a 147 km/h delivery against Rangpur Riders today and had a few that clocked over 140 km/h

He is "hit the deck hard" bowler. Would prosper on bouncy wickets.
