Eng beat SA. Do we now have to win 3 out of 3?

No doubt that this is a bad result for our qualification hopes. But does it mean we have to win 3 out of 3 of our remaining games? Has anyone got time to set out all the permutations?

Yes 3 out of 3 then we are definitely through. Or 2 out of 3 one of which must be England and then we gotta rely on West Indies beating England!

We can still improve our RR. Alternately, Now we may even try to win against SA.

Winning all 3 is the safest way, if we beat Eng/SA we are making a lot of problem in the table. Tie breaking will break a lots of hearts.

Bottom line is, even Ire is ahead of us at the moment. Even they are going to have 6 points.

Now Shakib got a must win match against ENG in upcoming match
but if Eng win then most probably we will lose 3 out of 3, btw NED is not a easy team for us.

Bangladesh will play in QF*

* conditions apply
1. Bangladesh must beat both Eng & Neth.
2. WI must beat Eng and wins more than 3 matches (BD , Neth, Ire, Eng)
3. Ire wins not more than 2 matches (Eng, Neth)

Then, IND, SA, WI & BD will go through.

Eng is our target. Today is their last win. They have 2 matches and they must lose 2 matches against BD & WI. IRE will win only against Netherlands. BD Will win 2 more matches out of 3 matches.
