Where do you think he messed up big time ?? I thought he did well ...

Whatever, Mushy didnt use his brain well. He should have given couple overs to Nasir at middle of the innings. I blame his craptancy for this heartattack win.

That was a great escape. We have to work on our gameplan, specially on blowing rotation.

I dont know if we can get Ian Pont for our pacers. Shane Jurgensen is seriously struggling in the pace dept. I dont see how is he making any impact....pacers are bowling below club level..

Ok you don't know how Abul would've gone today w/o even bowling him. Cut the kid some slack. That was his first game. If you are gonna pick the dude, you might as well use him. And perfect bowling changes? Especially at the death? I hope to God Riyad doesn't bowl the 20th over against Pakistani, needing 8 from 4! Riyad wasn't a choice, rather a LAST RESORT for Rahim's screw up early on. He didn't ingeniously pick Riyad to bowl the last over like you are making it out to be. 5 dead overs between Mash-Abul! One of them should've bowled at least 1 more early on so we wouldn't have been in this position. Also he brought Mash and Abul near the death. Why? If you aren't gonna bowl them, why bowl them at the most crucial moment of the game?! I'd much rather bowl them early. And he didn't even bowl Nasir.

Our attack is spin, but don't make it so blunt. 16 overs of consistent spin and you will have hitters seeing the ball like a beach ball, licking their lips.

We must win the next match and some changes need to happen in this team to achieve that.
Irish are figuring us out fast and adjustment need to be made before its too late.
Abul and MAsh are getting free rides, but Shane is not making any impact to help them out.

I see no one in here thinks Rahim messed up with the bowling changes. Yup, thank you Riyad. This is what I was worried about. We win the game, and no one will see the issue. There'd have been at least 10 threads on this if Riyad hadn't won us this game.

Bowling coach; I hope you took notes and ready to talk to Rahim.

plenty of people here think Mushy messed up with the bowling change. Don't worry let everyone have their moment. Match thread will continue to get flooded with yes we won, thanks riyad post. Someone will bring up this question in the Mushy thread, I'll see you there

Mushy did well today I must say.
Mushy could have easily ask Nasir to bowl couple of overs, why you play an allrounder if not use it when needed?

Rahim messed up big time and thats clear. But he should be guided by the coach. So coach must take his fair share of the blame as well for poor execution in the field. This was a poor bowling rotation, why on earth you bring back on pacers when they continued to get hammered, specially after 15th over?

Along with pace we need to work with the opening pair . We need more fireworks from that pair. It's T20 , not ODI that you can have the luxury of dot balls. Want explosive shots like Gayle and Shevag in the opening .

Captaincy is a thankless job.....if it works then you are a hero if not then you are an idiot. But it's true that decisions made by a captain should be justified to render his ingenuity. If Abul ended up taking a wicket it would've looked good on Rahim. Instead of giving Mash the 15th over, he should've been just continued with at the beginning. It's pretty dificult for a pacer to get in the groove right away....especially someone like Mash who's been through a lot of physical reconditioning. But the dilemma is, Porterfield played him well yesterday...so Mushy did not want to give them the start. But Mash should not come on the 15th over knowing that KOB just came to bat....it should've been Razzak (KOB is Razzak's bunny). It would've put so much pressure on the Irish losing KOB and not getting as many runs as Mash did in that over. But then again, you can never tell what would've happened with other bowlers afterward either....Shak or Riyad could've gone for more runs.....it's a funny game yo'll.
