Default Exposure - and our downfall

Can you name a tournament when we were given maximum exposure and we performed better than expected? Which one do you think that the above has happened in your opinion?

It is my realization without going into much stats or details that we have always performed below our expectation level whenever we participated in a high-exposure tournament. Like the Asia Cup, the two ICC Champions trophy games, world cup 2003, and many more.

High Exposure = Least performance

U missed one important tour.. and that was to the West Indies.

We earned a draw and played a very competetive ODI series. That Test match holds so many records new in BD batting including 3 test centuries in one Test. Lara almost had to put his Captaincy on burgain to defend his ctitics while the series. It is one of my most favorite tours by BD.

About the win against PAK: IMO... it was really an 'over-achievement' and at that time we were not that strong a team and it was almost like 'a bad day for pakistan'. But our later Series and performances vs the Aus/Pak/WI are really commendable becuase it proved gradual improvement.

My most favorite series so far are the Test+ODI series vs PAK & WI.

Right, I think that tour was more significant than most.
