Lol, anyone noticed at the bottom of the page in that cricinfo link? It says: Bangladesh innings: batsmen's runs scored do not balance. Ha Ha, And I tried adding up all the runs in the BD total and as suggested, it adds up to 145, but the score is 146.

mithun ali and shamsur rahman need to get in the middle in these practice matches, we already know what we need to know about rahim and junaid and they're probably the ones who are vying for a spot in the starting XI ahead of mithun and shamsur. mithun should have batted where rahim did in this warm-up match and shamsur probably should have taken junaid's spot.

i find it pointless that they played mithun in the practice match and had him lined up as the 10th batsmen. the only reason he was in the line up was as a batsmen..wat is the point of not lettin him bat?!

are we sure it wasn't a blunder and we actually won it? Lets just assume that we won it. Now I feel a little better

My cuz told me there was a clash between Mashrafe and Neil McCullum and that's why they could take the run. Anyone got 411 on this?

Mash and Naeem wasted many balls.

Mash played 13 balls but no bounderies at alll!!!
Naeem played 8 balls. 6 runs off 1 ball. other 6 runs off 7 balls.

WE lost the game when they were batting!! We should have made 160 very easily. Mash shouldn't have batted before Mithun.

At the end of 17th over, I thought we could have gone past 160 but that did not happen because of good bowling by New zealand .

Yes. At the same time, we didn't have a good batsman there. Mash is not a batsman. He is a tailender. We had Mithun in the lineup but they didn't send him to bat. What were they smoking? Mash shouldn't come to the crease when there's still 3/4 overs of game left.

mash and razzak are no allrounder.. they just wing their bat and every once in a while get lucky and connect them right...

Lol, don't we remember those two sixes of Mash in previous T20 WC in South Africa? He connected two, after slogging four consecutive deliveries for no runs, the commies were having a blast, ha ha!!!

mash is one of the most explosive tailender batsmen...the decision to send him in came from the view (IMO) to accelerate us to 150..but the boy has been out of cricket too long to make any use...i think we need to play him in every single practice match!

Ok, I guess it doesn't really carry any more significance, but still...

Quoring Ian O'Brien from Cricinfo:

'' .... The Bangla game was a tight one. ....
.... We needed 147 to win. Not a big score, but still one that was going to take a bit of work against a disciplined bowling attack. We needed 12 off the last over and it came down to the last ball for us to knock it off. Nathan did this in typical McCullum fashion, six off the first ball and then a four off the last to secure the win. ....''

Source: http://blogs.cricinfo.com/iainobrien...d_a_noball.php

Didn't we know there was a 3rd ball SIX and last ball TWO?
