Everyone is in DENIAL!!! They are all consoling themselves by saying that the match wasn't that bad because they waited for so long for a good game and they don't wanna disappoint themselves. To me there is no mediocrity or consolation. THEY LOST! It's as simple as that. Elevate and step up the game. Period!

First match on English wickets, could have been better, but at least they got some practice. Hopefully, they play better against Netherlands and Scotland, and win these games.

It is true that any score below 150 runs is not a good score to defend. Maybe, if Bd had bowled first, they may have won, because they like chasing. It was good that they did not allow the Kiwis to win the game before the 20th over.

Mohammed bhai thanks for your summary - it was brilliant.

Looks like we had a good match but a loss is a loss unfortunately.

It seems like we also have a new HaBa in the team - Junaid, can someone please replace him? What happened to Nazimuddin?

I am at work so only can follow BC once or twice as a guest. Looks like
Junaid and Mushfik need to think more about their cricket.

What can I say about Ash? If he sustained it would have been an easy win for us.

Not a bad game, but I wonder why we always end up on the losing side after a tight game

Well played by the tigers.
A good effort by Shakib and Riyadh.
Mushfiq and Ashraful needs to be dropped. Mush is a test bastsman also Nayeem could have done better, if he wants a higher strike rate he should try to play the ball in the gaps instead of giving the opposition team some fielding practice.

Man some changes needs to be done to the team. I hate watching Bangladesh on the loosing side all the time. I hate saying well played by the Tigers, maybe next time.
But the next time never comes. When will they start performing consistently, why can't we develop players like Hayden, Kallis or Watson.

The only consistent performer for Bangladesh has been Shakib. Tamim is ok but vastly overrated.
When it comes to overrates no one beats our captain Mohammed Ashraful.

I hope BCB wakes up from their fairy tale dream and takes some actions rather than relying on Ash to perform after failing every 50 matches.

Looking at the score Mahmudullah took 41 run which is good, but his strike rate let us down. Its really good for ODI not T20.

But still it was imprtnt at that stage for Ryad to stay & build up good prtnrship.
Even plyrs like Duminy,Gibbs batted well with this type of strikerate.
Anyway,Mash wasn't that bad apart from not getting a wicket but like IPL2 our spinners
were the key,we just need Mash & Rasel to get some wckts.

They gave 8 wides away, that's why. .... Is that what we do after getting ''The Most Disciplined Team'' Award [in terms of extras] by Cricinfo? .... Tighten your stuff up, bowlers!

MenOM- Miraz, Rabeed and everyone else who updated us with scores and more. Thanks guys, deeply appreciated ...

Granted this was a practice match, and an "unofficial" one AFAIK, but we were 15 to 20 runs short. Yet our guys still made it exciting even after posting such a seemingly modest total. Now that's encouraging as long as we don't get carried away and blow opportunities to learn and improve, especially after expected wins against the Dutch and the Scots.
