Why do we need a like button in a forum? Like button like the Facebook will kill the forum. Facebook e dekhi sad status hoile o like dei. Karo relatives mara geche status diyese otate o dekhi like dei.

Kisu bolar thake na to just like button click kore boshe thake.

Example - Post Thank You Hack or Seba's Advanced Post Rating (SAPR) system with ajax for VB 3.7x (This adds a thumbs up/down post rating system: youtube style)

I've seen the thank you hack. We've tried to keep from hacking into vBulletin too much. Usually during upgrades all hacks need to be re-added and that can be a pain. Not saying no but not saying a yes either. Let's see what Nasif has to say too.

Yes brother I admit this too. This is really a pain and you have to face lot of complicacy in future when you upgrade the forum. And some times hacks don't work properly. Using less additional hacks for forum is wise.

I think a YouTube like system would work best, with comments with to many negative likes getting removed. Also, I think mod's shouldn't be allowed to ban anyone without the consent of other mod's (i.e. a panel).

I think we should arrange an interview with our Chief Selector Akram Khan.

Default Is it DDOS or something?

I'm facing some data base error here while trying to enter BC forum. Is it because of DDOS on the website? Or anything else?

Here is a screen shot.

True - many of you have been a BC volunteer staff at one point on the other. Based on what BC needs to at least preserve what we have and hopefully to make it better, there are many volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Staff come in and go, based on the needs of BC, the skills they have, and the time they can give to BC.

For all of us, this is our first passion but second 'job'. We all have a day job or life that we have to attend to. Often this becomes so paramount that we can no longer give the time to BC for whatever reason - gotten married, got a job, had kids, started medical school, need to stop failing the exams, got bored with cricket and what not.

There is so much more to BC than the forum and so much more we want to do.

Often we will make a public call for volunteers for a specific task or we have a gap in our skill-set or need a warm body for a particular tasks and we will engage privately the member to see if he/she is willing to volunteer to be BC staff member for that task.

However - the biggest bunch of volunteers who have the biggest impact on BC are the members who post in the forums. That is why BC is BC.

Thank you. This qoute makes my day...! This gives me a great idea, can we have a hall of fame for quotes from both moderators and members? It will be very interesting I think. The mods will in charge of selecting the quotes. The quotes need not be philosophistic. I think you understand what I mean. Thank you.

Then we have "Other Sports".

Instead of having few threads that kind of gets hard to follow, can we have one simplified Thread Head for the Bangladeshi players in the English Minor County League ??

Thread Title :

Bangladeshi Player in the English Minor County League

Enamul Haque Jnr Rajin Saleh Syed Rasel

We could have three clickable link for each players, just like we used to have for our 3 coaches in their Ask the Coaches thread.

I think it would less clustered and easier to follow.
