Since brazil is fielding a weak team, I thought the final will be a good contest!!! It turns put that Argentina has been beaten quite comprehensively...

Saw the second half, Brazil established strong dominance. Brazil really taught the course, congratz to this second string team.

This game deserves one big...
[]

Brazil played like a completely different team... highly defensive, completely shutting down anything Argentina tried...

GAH!

There is no justice.

Well, at least it's not as bad as 2004 when Argentina was just a few minutes away from the championship and just gave it away.

Wow..wow..Brazil..brazil..brazil..

What a masterful game the Brazilans played today. They gave no room to Riquelme or Messi. It was a suffocating collective defense from them. Baptista, Josue and co outshone the Veron, Roman midfield. Dani Alves just hammered the aging Argentine backline after he came on.. Game over..

From all the indications of the tournament, which I have been watching, it was no wonder that Argentina was the huge favorite. Brazil, minus their stars, limped through early stages, often playing Dunga's boring defense first approach, yet today they just dominated Argentina and the usual flair of Brazil was also back.

One thing about Brazil though something Argentina doesn't have : Its their ability to win finals of big cups. They win more than they lose in final games. Argentina suffer from huge letdowns all the time, despite playing beautiful stuff. This particular Argetina team is reminding me of the Brazil of Zico and Falcao of eighties. Lots of beautiful stuff but no cups..

I was at the party before the game and some Argentinian fans where saying this and that and they will see Brazil this time etc etc. I just told them at the time Since Argentina is so much in Form and Brazil is not the GAME should be interesting now since both the team will be equal and that made them angry... now i have to call them and find out ha ha ha...

For their offensive game plan, refer to the game against Mexico.
