Default Tiger Squad for T20 WC 2014

Here is some players who should be considered...

Anam, Shamsur, Tamim, Momin, Mushy, Shakib, Naisr, Shabbir, Mashrafee,Taskin, Al-Amin, Rubel, Razzak, Gazi, Zia, Naeem, Junaid, etc.

I am hoping a brilliant team effort from the Tigers ...echoing Shakib ..."I needed to perform so that I could give my countrymen an occasion to cherish and be proud of"

Doesnt really matter who plays.... Our 20 list is no longer made up of some set players and rest "doodhbhaats"
Everyone has the ability to perform

After watching Zia bat i am not sure i want him in the t-20 side anymore. He is not the best of fielders as well. Razzak also should not be a certainty. We can give Arafat Sunny a chance to see how he goes in the lead-up to the tournament

We need to arrange a t20 tournament to find out some new prospect like Arafat Sunny, if it is already not too late!

We should first focus on organizing the BCL before a T20 tournament. I know the T20 WC is important but longer version practice is more important IMO. We have to think long term and continue to rise as a Test team. Don't forget while we've been a good ODI team, we still haven't produced in Tests. Not to mention we have SL coming to our backyard in Feb, and we still have question marks at the 2nd opener and #3 spot, and the pacers.

Anamul has a good chunk of time to work on his technique and footwork then. I say give him the SL series as test opener and if he doesn't shoe any improvement then we should either give jahurul another chance or throw shamsur in their.

Let's pick a team that can win. Let's not confuse players suitable from other formats and hope they will work here. This is a different format and the selectors have shown how lazy they are by choosing the same team in tests, odis and then t20s. This is my squad,

1. Tamim
2. Shuvo
3. Mushfique
4. Shakib
5. Shabbir
6. Mahmudullah
7. Nasir
8. Zia
9. Mashrafe
10. Gazi
11. Rubel

I will go with this squad exactly. Tamim, Mushfique and Shakib will provide stability at the top order, Anamul is a hit or miss at this moment, I will opt for a better batsman that is shamsu. I think with Shabbir, Mahmudullah and Nasir it is an explosive middle order. We can expect about 70 runs off 10 overs from them easily. With Zia, Gazi and Mashrafe the lower middle order is one to envy for really.

The bowling department would look so much better with Taskin around, but I feel it will be a huge pressure to debut infront of the home crowd that too in the world cup. I will go with Rubel for now, not the only weak link mind you. Mashrafe in death overs is an open invitation for runs. The only positive thing in bowling is Shakib and maybe Gazi. But we need 5 of the best t20 bowlers if we were to challenge the top teams. So, the question of us doing well really depends upon the bowling department, namely the pace bowling department. Hopefully, we have Taskin ready in time. Otherwise, it's gonna be a hard hard tournament for us. Ps: I wouldn't go with 3 spinners, that will be suicidal in a t20 match. Think selectors think!

Receipe for success:

1. Keep Zia in the squad.
2. Include Shabbir instead of anyone. Have to have include him.
3. Look for 2 of the best containment/wicket taking bowlers upfront.
4. Get Taskin ready in time.
5. Focus on the bowling a lot!!! That is the weak link, that is the part that's gonna make us lose matches. Get good bowlers in the team and get them fast.

after all best team wouldbe looking like this

1# tamim iqbal ( bangladesh hard hitter boy )
2# anamul haque ( no need to count he will do on his day )
3# shamshur rahman ( maybe little reliable )
4# musfiqur rahim ( little but had a strong bottom hand like sachin mashAllah )
5# sakib al hasan ( dont need to say anythings )
6# mahmudullah riayd ( the biggest six hitter in bd team i guess )
7# nasir hossain ( need to be more healthy rather than showstopper )
8# sohag gazi ( soon to become potuakhali legend )
9# mashraffie mortaza ( Bangladesh fast baller boss)
10# abdur razzak ( need that leg spininner karishma at t20 wc )
11# taskin ahmed ( new mashraffie of bangladesh)

in shaa Allah this will be a really tough team to beat , i just hope taskin willl be fully fit before t20 wc

He might not be fit for the 2015 WC and you are thinking of 2014 T20 WC.
