Try all possible permutations and combinations with Zim, why hold back.
Tamim Opening with Mushy for a change in some games and staying as a sheet anchor.
Shakib at 3, Liton keeping wickets, batting at 5
Liton not keeping , batting at 3, Shakib at 5.

My 2 cents.
You've nothing to lose mates.

Cheers

IMO Sarkar should have been played than Fazle. Good choice with Saif.

Im guessing as Shakib and Tamim come back into the team, Fazle and Nazmul should get the chop.

fazle rabbi ki kortese? double duck in debut. assuming 100 coming up in next match, if he gets chance. didn't selector says, he is the complete package?

Fazle is a like an aspirin to any headache the selectors are having

On third game will they play Soumya? If he gets chance and scores good runs..that will be good competition and more headache for selectors to select for openner spots and 3rd down. Shakib experiment on 3rd down might be again something to think about as Kayes Liton scoring.

Well if Rabby cannot score on the flattest of pitches against such opposition then does he deserve more chances that is something to think about, Bashar's complete package statement is looking quite silly now

Only headache is having brainless morons like Nannu-Bashar as selectors. Anyone else should see crystal clear by now which set of players we need to move forward with, leading to WC.

Tamim may get Imrul as his openning partner and if Liton comes at 3. Mushy remains on 4, Shakib position 5 the problem is not garauntee that Shakib will do good with bat especially in early if collapse happens or in middle to continue rotating strikes. Mullah has to come at 7 then.

Except, Riyad usually bats a bit higher in the world tournaments and does well. So many dilemmas.

If soumya comes in and performs in last ODI then that will give a bigger headache to selectors. So they better stick to their complete package for now

So if Soumya plays next game.. then what was the point of picking Ariful for Asia Cup and Zimbabwe series? He hasn't even been given a chance in the last 2 series. If he is not good enough... Why pick him in the first place?

Selectors have made things more difficult by the way they handle talent, ariful has been in a few squads lately but they never play him, soumya is only good for a last minute call up in two consecutive tournaments/series? Shanto is picked for Asia cup, gets some matches then is dropped then is picked for this series but is bypassed by fazle and if fazle gets dropped next game then they aren’t backing him either so why pick him if that happens?

When tamim comes back there will be a headache (a good headache) because liton is finally scoring runs, imrul is back and scoring runs but neither are good number 3s, although my feeling is one of them will bat at 3 (or they’ll continue with shakib at 3 and drop one).

Completely what a complete farce of selection, clearly there are different agendas working against each other, or its just crazy reactive decisions.

Not only brainless and moronic decisions but to some extent these numpties are involved with politics as well.

1.Tamim
2. Imrul
3. Liton/Mithun

6. Mahmudullah
7. Soumya
8. Miraz
9. Mash
10. Fizz

Not sure who should play no.3, but I don't think Liton will play that well in that position. I think playing Shakib as no. 3 is too risky and he is better in the middle order as he provides solidity. I think Soumya despite his failings should be persisted with and be transformed from an opener to a batting all-rounder who can be a finisher and can be a 4th pacer, I mean Jayusuria started as spinner who could bat a bit to becoming a gifted opener. So MAYBE this is what Soumya needs to become a long term option. I'd like to see Mithun in the squad as well as he saved us in two matches and should be made back-up in case Liton or Imrul fail.

+1, pretty sure even if he scores a double century, selectors will find a excuse to drop him, since he is a "stop gap solution". Meanwhile we have hacks like Soumya getting free passes.

Soumya has given the fans blue balls for the past 3 years, yet fans are still persisting with him....pardon the analogy.
