Even worse for them is that Vitori, their fastest pacer at the moment, has to be called for chucking soon, seems pretty blatant.
400 could be on here, brutal stuff

damn, this goes to show you how much our players improved. This same batting line up crumbled against our bowlers.

Zimbabwe has the worst bowling lineup in the world; we saw it in the world cup

I know. I said 10 wins since 2004. Out of 100+ matches.

If Zim win the toss and bat first I actually think they'll win.
These surfaces are pathetically flat so far, bat first put on a massive score and bat Pakistan out of the game

This game might have some legs, lets see if Chiggy can stay for another 2-3 overs batting like this

Its one thing to score 300 chasing 380, another to put 300 up batting first. ZIM are a decent batting side still it would seem. But their bowlers would be unable to defend whatever their batters get. They restricted PAK to 230 in the world cup and yet couldn't chase it down. Then they conceded 330 to Ireland and failed to chase it down.

At this moment, Zim and Pak are not that far off in terms of batting. Pakistan have better bowling which gives them an edge over Zim. Otherwise, they are pretty well matched I reckon.

That too under subcontinent conditions, and when Pakistan batting first. If it's outside of subcontinent and Zimbabwe gets to bat first, it's advantage Zimbabwe. If we add Taylor on top of this, Zimbabwe can even go further.

Zim can take a lot of confidence from their batting , in both T20s and this odi they batted very well, in next match Zim have to somehow create some pressure on Pak batsmen & induce a typical Pak collapse, only way to win.
Congratulations El-ton.

And they were lucky to chase UAE, thanks to the poor fielding of the latter.

Well done Zimbabwe with 334. It's the highest total they have got in a few years against top sides.

I was surprised to see Zimbabwe Bowlers bowl a lot of rubbish deliveries, very unlike a team coached by Whatmore. They could have easily and very easily kept things tighter and restrict Pakistan to 320. This was a game for them to lose.
The current Pakistan ODI team is only slightly stronger than the one that visited Bangladesh a few weeks ago. Shoaib Malik with his experience is back and Yasir Shah was injured during ODI Times.

I personally think Zimbabwe got their selection half right and half wrong. Solomen Mire(impressed in patches against Bangladesh last winter) was left out. They are badly missing Brendan Taylor's captaincy. Right now, Zimbabwe Cricket is living off of "What could have been"/"What if". very sad.

well they did beat UAE fairly easily in the end, but there were plenty of times it looked like UAE would knock them off. Shouldn't have been that close for a Test nation.

Mire is like Farhad Reza...not good enough for int'l cricket and only suited for domestic bullying.
