After beating NZ 4-0, we set ourself perfectly to take over the number 8 position. We needed to beat at least 2 top 8 teams during the WC 2011 to earn some big points, but we couldn't do it. And than we hosted Pakistan, and didn't win any games in that series. So I would say we had plenty of chances to get in the top 8. Remember NZ and WI were not all that far ahead of us at that time. Bottom line is we only have ourselves to blame. They made the top 8 rule to purposely leave out BD and Zim, there's not much we can do about that. But at the end of the day, there was a way to show middle finger to ICC, but we blew it.

Well said.....yap we dont deserve to play icc champ trophy..... Eapacially losing to zim one by one ..... If we dont know how to play jarvis or chetara..... How u expect to play other best ???????
